More and more often I come across fully verified news stories that sound like pure fiction or bad movie scripts.
Like what just happened in Tennessee:
Christa Pike, sentenced to death for a 1995 murder, has survived two separate doses of "lethal" injection pentobarbital.
Witnesses reported hearing her snore, and she remained conscious with a perceptible heartbeat long after the backup dose was administered.
Now Christa Pike is being kept "alive" on advanced life support under armed guard at a Level 1 trauma center.
Short story long:

Post 'em if you got 'em (no satire sites like The Onion or unverified rumors).
