Hardly hoarding!

He is investing in things he believes in. Employing many. Internet for every inch of the earth. Super cool space technology NASA et al cannot touch. He almost lost it all a few times.

Immoral is knowing the gospel and not sharing it. Gold is not important in God’s Kingdom. It is merely pavement.
Did you read the original post.

I've never observed an agreeable contrary character ... it is just oppositional to the idea of Erosive chare 'n ... folk do not like to as it goes against primary avarice ... the urge to control everything ... thus they have God in hand ...

Virtual people? A very alien concept ... my observations are somewhat off from that of those fitting the edifice mold ... cast in a tight place?

Because of the the amount he has, anything he does to help???? Is covered by either tax exemption or the interest he makes in a minute. If what he did made difference to his wealth, then that would be honourable but it doesn't, there was once a singer who gave 10,000 every month to charity and he was praised for it. but because of the wealth he had. it was the equivalent to me or you giving a penny to charity each month. Not much at all when you look at it like that, considering he got it back in tax exemption and interest .
Hey there Pavlos!

Oh, I was just responding to Nancy and her musings "does he do anything charitable?" so I looked...

I have read that Even Warren Buffett, who is more of someone I accept, intentionally rigs the world so as to be more amenable to him making bucketloads of cash :(

Keep on keepin on, Pavlos

Let's be clear, Elon (or any billionaire) does not have billions of dollars sitting in the bank. He has assets valued at billions of dollars, mostly stock in companies or actual companies that he owns (like X). His wealth actually fluctuates with the value of those assets. If Tesla or SpaceX crashed, he'd drop down the billionaire list significantly. So he's not hoarding money here, he's accumulating wealth through increases in the value of those assets. If he sold off those assets, then he would have billions in the bank but people like him rarely do that. If they sell assets, it's to acquire other assets. So I am not sure what he is hoarding. If his assets go up in value, he gets rich. If they go down, he doesn't. He isn't hoarding anything. And if he sells those assets to give away the money, then someone else buys them and gets rich off of them instead, potentially. If you want to get rid of billionaires, then the solution is to basically shut down the entire market system of capitalism and go back to small, family or individually owned companies that operate entirely locally with no such thing as public trading of shares. That comes with a raft of problems of its own.

So I think we are going to be living with billionaires for a long time to come and the best approach is to structure tax systems to draw more of that wealth into public institutions. They are not going away.
Someday we need to structure things so it is impossible to be a billionaire. I agree with Pavlos that they are morally bankrupt. Having more than £10M or $20M is excessive.

The people of avarice in the avatar would never accept any control in a world where they demand to control it! The reason they hate metaphor as pair Ode ... odious as a stinking thought ... f(art) ... like a Runic symbol ... say it as you like it because the emotional will disagree anyway to make a spectacle ...

The ground of being descends far past the roots ...

Would you want that to apply to even people ostenisbly on our side like the Gates, Warren Buffett, Soros?

It will be interesting to see what happens

Heck, if this who Davos Great Reset thing goes through, with our gov'ts controlling who gets what and not, maybe...

But Elon has an unelected position as Trump’s wingman in the WH axing important programs that he unilaterally decided, weren’t, so he sucks infinately more. I guess there’s such a thing as beyond morally bankrupt and Elon reached it.
Do you think gov't orgs like the FBI, CIA, DOD, and so forth have done a lot of bad in the world?

Do you want to see them held accountable for their bad?

Another thing that surprises me is the Orange Smurf could have done all this more legally because the GOP has so much control now? That is according to LegalEagle, one of my legal go to experts for USA things

Sure, but Elon being installed as Decider is not accountability, it’s more corruption. Cutting a bunch of jobs, getting rid of diversity programs, whole departments.

Got it :3
Thus a big conflict with me. I like the fact that of these generators of global evil should be held accountable. Problem with that is they are part of the entrenched power structures, part of the whole swamp idea, so difficult to actually deal with. But how Elon is doing it is illegal. I am an Idealist. Which can be a problem, because the world is more complex than that.

The whole thing just highlights how unpredictable the political landscape can be. It’s a high-stakes game of chess. Every move matters and has ripple effects
