Being bashed over the head with God/Love ... would that leave mankind senseless in the presence of god/Love and thus the aversion to passions and love of knowledge? Thus could result in hostility if you observe the functional attribute of violent passions!

But then what would I know as a church goer that agrees not to think about any strange knowledge ?

--Here waterfall you say you like it.. What is posted here by BetteThe Red is a lie and we in Canada all know it. Gays may be married here and can live as a couple. I don't believe schools here teach different do you?
airclean, Bette doesn't lie in the quote you posted. She just asks a hypothetical question.

Does God's sign to man persist as a strong tendency to loose thoughts during sects ... sex?

Thus we get the experience of nothing ... from which God made something ... and so it goes ... thoughts ... that are out there for grabs ... so don't ... don't even believe in knowledge since God within man said so ... revealing that this is probably due to woman ... who tend to cause a halt in men ... stoppage? BUNG!

I had to put a plug in for female capacities ... causes men a ribbing, or unguent ( a rub) especially during marriage ceremonies ... when most mend don't wish the scripture abut the ribbing read into the service ... didn't Mary do something like that to Jesus in another myth ... perhaps while laying out around the only pool of darkness around ... thus creating the myth of the Lady of the Loch ... a Celt version of Hebrew tale?

NO .... NO NO NO .......
Why have you disregarded what Isiah said about the SIN of Sodom and Gomorrah?
Why is it so hard to see that sex in the outrageous form of rape was used as a tool of oppression and control?
Actually ... I would submit that the "church" still uses sex as a tool of oppression and control.
So much for fair minded acceptance hospitality.
At this point I feel it is far too much to ask for love....

Hi RitaTG--Your post here dose not stand . if city's through out the area were doing the same as Sodom and Gomorrah. GOD would have also destroyed them as well. Do you understand half of Abrahams people were in those two city's.

----I am sorry you feel this way. I pray you see some day and understand RitaTG. The GOD I follow LOVE'S you as well.I am not but a sinner saved by GRACE.

airclean, I'm sure RitaTG believes God loves her. It's the Church whose love she questions.

This all lies in mortal chaos over God being infinite or a mortal state of mind/psyche ... thus the underlying goings on .... just for amusement of the sublime bunch! Did you know snow is a sublimation and thus underlying all is this snow job as a cover up for naïveté! Few really believe in understanding, and such undertaking of Hebrew wisdom ... de ath NDs the passions and one becomes pure thought and gone like a shot in the dark ...?

Could fooled me ... perhaps a cover up or just snow job ... to create fear. Advertising theory say you can't sell much without inducing fear ... thus the sales of scary fabrics for rye souls ...

I am of the church Jae . I have no hate for RitaTG.
airclean .... I have never sensed any hate from you towards me nor do I expect to...
Nor in general am I saying that the church hates gays....
Yes there are the extreme elements and always will be .... let's set those aside for now and perhaps discuss another time.
What I am trying to discuss is that in general the church is holding onto and imposing viewpoints that lead to the death of vulnerable LGBTQ youth.
I feel that those viewpoints need to be challenged and that much further and deeper study of the issues are required.
Here is the thing .... what good is standing for a so called "righteous" viewpoint and crushing the spirit of a young one to the point that they succumb to suicide over it?
That is the point ..... suicide......
Care to discuss that? ... or is the viewpoint that drove them towards that more important?

When a Christian is seen as feeling an "unknown" is going to 'elle ... is there emotional reaction?

Thank god for a pure state of mind out there as vacuous! Spitis rise as light and solid knowledge sinks into forms of intellectual foundations ... hard spot mostly with transient layers ... like crumby cakes ...

"Not all?" Really?

It's a significant minority who perform same sex marriages. Not even all UCCAN churches do! I mean, seriously....

This is just my view ----

We need to understand there are 2 types of churches -----Jesus shows us this in the Parable of the Weeds in the Wheat

So some of the Church who are followers of the way of Jesus Christ who are serious in doing Gods will and growing in becoming Christ like ---will Love their neighbour like Jesus loved us ----but the Church who's lips say I am a Christian but who's hearts are far from what they say will be the weeds that will not follow the command ---love your neighbour as Jesus loved you ----To Love Others who are different and be able to accept them as they are needs unconditional love and this is not easy for most of us to do --Agape is the first fruit of the Spirit and is the highest form of Love ----Emotional Love is what drives most of us --- The gay people who are angry at the church for their unacceptance are just doing to the Church what they don't want done to them ----- The Love and acceptance we demand is conditional--I want you to love me and accept me because of my preference not because I am a person but because I belong to the LGBT community ----God loves all people ---no labels or preference required and until we can do the same we will continue to say we love the unlovely but our action will go against the words we speak ----

Matthew 13 --GWT

A Story about Weeds in the Wheat

24 Jesus used another illustration. He said, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field.25 But while people were asleep, his enemy planted weeds in the wheat field and went away.26 When the wheat came up and formed kernels, weeds appeared.
27 “The owner’s workers came to him and asked, ‘Sir, didn’t you plant good seed in your field? Where did the weeds come from?’
28 “He told them, ‘An enemy did this.’
“His workers asked him, ‘Do you want us to pull out the weeds?’
29 “He replied, ‘No. If you pull out the weeds, you may pull out the wheat with them.30 Let both grow together until the harvest. When the grain is cut, I will tell the workers to gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles to be burned. But I’ll have them bring the wheat into my barn.’”

So for us who are gay and bash the church for their unacceptance and blame them for killing our community ---I ask are we the weeds or the wheat in God's world ?--We are called to Love one another ---easy to talk the talk ---very hard to walk the walk ---

I take it you have children. Many things affect our. Being call FAT , or UGLY. or just not being excepted into the group. It could be the way they talked because of the country they came from. Or the clothes they had on.Our children have face this for as long as I can remember. Is it not funny that when I went to school . I cannot remember one gay child being made fun of . You see Rita TG I was always over wait. But something else . I also was not a bad boxer. Most new this and left me alone. I had friends who stood with me and if you picked on them I would not be far behind. These friends were the one's, others would try and pick on.I never did like a bully. Gay Children? The children I new didn't know what they were. I have known Gay adults that said they were but, who really were not. sure. Here though we were talking how we felt GOD see's it. His Word I believe tells us that it is a sin . My belief allows me to except all those that have come to Christ, to have there sin"s forgiven. I have a problem for those who want to keep living in them tho.

If you want to tell those who refuse to live their lives according to the rules you interpret your God to have laid down for the sexes, then you're part of the same problem you complain about above. You've become part of the Christian message telling GBLTQ kids that they are wrong, don't know what they are, are disordered, sinners, etc. You've become what you hated in your younger years. You say you are accepting, then reject them in your next breath. Some "acceptance".

Some others will focus on the "God loves all" approach to the damage you and others like you would try to do. I focus on the "you're better than this religious crap" message. Either way, there is still a ways to go for some kids who are caught in Christian families and Christian towns that do not accept them for who they are.

airclean .... would you please tell me your thoughts on this part of my post please....

Could we talk about that?????
