Actually, it's threatening to pretty much anybody not named unsafe.

And I find it amusing that you reject out-of-hand the thoughts of everyone here who has studied the matters, and that YOU ALONE speak the truth. To me, that smacks of Donald Trump claiming that HE ALONE could defeat ISIS. (Spoiler alert: He couldn't. He didn't. Not by a long shot.)

So you'll excuse me if I have my serious doubts about your 'speaking the truth.'

I find this "death/blood" cult more than a bit disturbing.

If I now understand you correctly, you believe that the blood sacrifices of animals commanded by God to the Jews, was replaced by a new sacrifice, again lethal, of the "human" (but not quite) "son" of the same God. It is kind of interesting to note that Jewish beliefs of "at-one-ment" have not gone in the same direction.

No one absolutely knows what is right in terms of faith. The Yahweh cult produced the Jesus cult which evolved into Christianity. Oral sacred stories evolved into written sacred stories which went through several significant changes. The compilation of the Torah, the histories, the Psalms, Proverbs, and some of the other writings during the exile set the stage for Judaism. The Septuagint was another important development. And several stages after that. At a council of bishops more than two hundred years after the death of Jesus, the Canon was chosen.

This is a long winded way of saying all of the Scriptures which form most of the base of current conservative Christian beliefs had a messy evolution and the demand to accept all of those scriptures as being the Word of God instead of words about God demands a certain kind of faith.

People like most of the participants on this website are more inclined to see the Bible as words about God rising out of a variety of of experiences spiritual, historical, and experiential.

Since none of us know what is truth, we cannot completely dismiss another person's understanding. The Conservative Christian view seems out of sync with what we continue to learn about Creation. The God of the Bible seems too small and controlling to fit our experiences of creation.

Quoting bible verses and scholars does not have much validity with people like myself. Personal experiences, such as those claimed by Mystic offer more worth to real discussions.

If they had never had clothing, how did they know how to sew, and where did the needle and thread suddenly come from?

The essence of an impossible dream ... illusions appearing when some strange portion of the person is at rest ... like when the soul is out of it ... something missing in people and preserved in a jar'd episode of entanglement with mortal (man's) law. The love of law vs experience with information around us (intellect) is something a mass 've people can't see because of the busy in ess of excessive emotions ... thus all information and knowledge is denied ... exterminated ... exorcised?

Discourse is intercourse with the innate bean ... a very dark and small seed! It must be nurtured along the path eh! The pain of learning and then release ... part of the stress syndrome ...

Some say part of staying stressed is ignoring the gut where much of the immune system is centered ... a likely story since you can't tell a stoic anything ... only stories and thus parody is mist by the blinded ...

Some observations are tough science ... and hard cases ... for those resisting the gift of learning ... yet the law of the busy militant remains that the tree of knowledge must be eliminated ... thus sapience flows ... like all other cycles it goes round; hydrogen cycle, carbon cycle, 4 got cycle ... that communal item ... intangible grail? Jaerd ... appearing many times in the old literature by those juggling ... as something was dropped ... heavenly fallacy? Passing mindfulness ... and thus it goes ...
