Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

That is awesome.

If you ever have to replace, we purchased an EPSON WorkForce Pro WF-7840 Wide All-in-One Printer.
It handles 11x17.
I've found it to be of good quality.

Ok, but what will weigh down that side of my house if I replaced this beast with that lightweight?

I literally had to take this printer down the stairs in 3 pieces. My table saw is lighter.

Good morning! We think today of travelling families and a grandkid-in-law that stays home, heat outside and AC on inside, and the joys of setting up printers, and all the fun things tat can occur. I do miss my Canon MX-330, it was simplicity itself. Didn't have a whole lot o special features, but it had what I needed.
Anyway, for those experiencing such things, hope it will all work out in the end. Right now we gather round the Coffee Cart for our daily round of conversation, support, and connection, over tea and coffee, and the offerings of the Wonderbaker. Today the WB has provided butter tarts, with and without raisins, for us to enjoy. The tea water is merrily boiling, the coffee is freshbrewed, and the tarts are wonderful. All is ready, everyone is welcome! Come join the fun!

Been struggling to get my Brother PT-P710BT printer to work.
It's a label printer that worked wonderfully last that i used it.

I hadn't used it on my Dell laptop, so installed software, debugged a driver issue, got it going, but, every time went to the print queue it error'd.

I've been in chat twice, sent information, debugged, and each time results in a restart, which ends the chat session, and requires a new chat (can't get same agent, i asked)

A bit frustrating.

In researching, saw that there was an android app, so decided to run it from my phone, and it works just fine, so that means printer, labels are fine.

So now.....need to get back on with support

or, i may just remove the software, and the driver...restart, then, try an install again.

Not exactly how I want to be spending my time.
In the oddest of odd things, after it worked for the mobile (Bluetooth) app, i retried with app on laptop last night.

It worked.

No changes on PC, other than time.

I'm taking it as a win if still works this morning.

And..I got the labels printed for all the plants I want to plant today

Still there are funny things that real people find hard to believe.

These are open to investigation ... like Einstein did or there would not have been any information on atoms and quanta ... even if individuals do not believe in things below your vision limits ... questions? Quick I'm just about shrunk up to nothing ... its humiliating as knowledge outsteps you ...

I bought bedding plants
I usually use sheets on my bed. :sneaky: :ROFLMAO:

Good morning. Busy work day but nothing else exciting. Seeing my dentist but it's for routine stuff. Lab work coming up on Friday but, again, routine stuff for me given my various health issues.

Good morning! It's Thursday, and the weekend is coming soon. Spring is here, finally; switching from a turtleneck to a T-shirt is certainly a good sign. We gather again around the Coffee Cart, to chat, to offer and receive moral support, and to sterngthen our connections with one another, oer coffee, tea, and the baked goodies provided by our Wonderbaker. Today we have been given bagels, with several spreads and toppings, to enjoy. The tea water is hot, coffee is freshbrewed, and bagels toasted to a lovely golden-brown. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come join in the chats!

Oh, i feel like having a bagel today.

Thank-you!

Resolved all my label making challenges, so today is a gardening day

May you have a delightful day wherever you are

It was gorgeous here today. Not too hot. Not too cool.
Got a bunch of plants labelled & identified. Garden hadn't got much attention for a bit, so nice to be back into it.

Also updated my spreadsheet with the plants that didn't make it, or I can't find.
Sadly, i'm finding that most plants from one greenhouse are not making it...it could be that i buy too many from them when I go, and don't care for them when planted.
On the other hand, I've had friends who are also struggling with their plants

Nice here, although I worked 10-3. After an early supper, I returned to watering the plants I planted yesterday, and potting up more perennials for the sale. Grass clumps are done, as are echinachea, and I have only one produce box of irises to pot. And everything is watered, but big guy is looking at hose arrangements tomorrow. AND, tomorrow, my new "friend with a back" is coming to help me dig up hostas from a neighbour. And I need to dig up some alliums and centaurea from my own gardens. Have to be careful; when I overdo it I get a bit grumpy, and me myself and I don't care, but people who live with me don't like "full Bette"...

How do you label your plants? Do you mean outdoors? I have tried wooden stakes with names, varnished, they didn’t survive. Other labels just faded over the summer. I would like something reusable so I don’t have to do new ones every year. You also sound like you have a plan on your computer of your garden?
I have one just written down and it is a mess. If there is a program to draw your own on the computer, please let me know.

We have apple blossom week this week- and the apple trees are beautiful. I usually stay away of the crowd, the parades and events. Yesterday was food truck event and I picked up supper. Light rain- it wasn’t very busy at 4 pm but maybe later on.
Today I am heading to Liverpool (NS) with a friend, about a 2 hr drive. There is a nursery and the owner also makes statues out of concrete and sets them up in a wooded area of his property. He has been doing this for a long time and one walks through it like a fairy tale set up in the woods with gnomes and creatures peeking around trees.

The weather will be cool and cloudy, but we will have fun anyway

I just shared it with a friend who is heading to NS

For my garden i use stakes and labels that stay out all winter and don't fade.

Labels are printed using Brother PT-P710BT label maker using their software

I don't use their labels, rather I buy knockoffs. It's a lot cheaper. I colour code, so use these cartridges

Finally, I buy these stakes from Kinkaid. They are so solid they survive my dog and the deer.

Good morning! Some wonderful weather round the country, some writing that wants to enlarge, some plant sales to get ready for, and some labeling issues to deal with, a concrete statuary place to explore, and whatever else may come up in conversations, all of this comes with us to the Coffee Cart. Here, over tea, coffee and baked goodies, we sort it all out, in our chats, support and community, This morning, our Wonderbaker has provided us with varied muffins to enjoy. The muffins are warm and fresh from the oven, the tea kettle is merrily whistling, the coffee is freshbrewed. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come in and join in the conversations!

The night was dark and the sky was blue and all that ... yep ... you know how it goes with potent administrators ... just about everything is efficiently out ...

Because someone lied about believing in nothing ... breathing space? Logic ...

There was this vale of Magi ... come up out of no where? It is likely that its out also ...
