Skiers did well this winter, though we froze. We're heading into our last weekend of race training. March Break camp is just over a week away, if Zach does it. I'm not coaching it. I'm looking forward to skiing with my wife and not having to be at the hill for 8 anymore.

I cleared a lot of snow this winter, for us and our neighbours. One set of neighbours are in rough shape, so I do all their clearing now. Zach helped shovel their porch a couple weeks ago, and she came out with an envelope for him with $100 in it. I tried to tackle her to prevent the gift, but she got by me. I'm told gifts of cash are common for Chinese New Year.

Zach thanked her very much.

I do a couple other driveways to be nice, half hoping that they may reciprocate on weekends when we're away and come home to a little snow. It almost never happens, but dare to dream, I guess.

I no longe c lear away snow. A son does it. He also clears for four other people who are unable to do their own. A couple of them 'pay' him with baking. There seemto be people who accept that tyoe of kindness who never think to pay back in some way.

Colds are going around here too. But so far it seems to be a head cold that doesn’t debilitate too much. I have sniffles and I’m loading up on vitamin C.
Heading to the airport today to pick up son who has been at PDAC in Toronto since Saturday. I’m excited to hear his stories.

Yeah, I forgot that I also clear for a widow around the corner who also can't do her own. I might have mentioned her before. She's super nice. She's also super loaded from what I know. Yet she doesn't get a service in to clear snow. She drives an old Chrysler minivan and lives alone in a $2m house.

It's the ones I do for able-bodied neighbours, one with his own snowblower, that I thought might buy some good will for Sunday nights. Nope, lol.

My neighbour across the road is also loaded, but he clears his own driveway. You should see him. He dresses in a crisp snowsuit, starts his snowblower and follows a perfect search pattern. Then the snowblower goes away and he disappears. Doesn't matter if anyone else is struggling with their snow - he's gone.

Rich people are funny.

Meanwhile, I'm in an old coaching uniform from...seriously...1997.

I end up helping anyone who is struggling by hand. I've done quite a few driveways on our street at least once. Earlier this winter, a younger woman was out in the cold, wearing pyjamas, fighting the icy windrow they hadn't cleared last snowfall. I was already out with the machine, so I went to help, and took a pick with me. She sees me arrive and just leaves me to it. Not a single thank you. Just walked inside like it was my job to clear the snow and ice, and I was late.

Again, rich people. Funny.

I have a mental note of some houses I won't go back to.

Perhaps why some of them hate the metaphor particularly alien as sort of weird ...

Isn't that out there if beyond their comprehension? What can one say? Obviously nothing ...

They're probably thanking God that He/ She sent you....

Good Thursday morning, all! It is positively springlike here for the next couple of days. Beautiful. Though the cold and snow may come back late next wek, I'll enjoy it whilst it's here. Hoping your weather is decent too.
We gather around the Coffee Cart, where discussions of snow removal, gratitude for labours done, and 5 week colds happened yesterday. We come to continue to discuss these, and/or start new topics over tea, coffee and baked goodies. This morning, the Wonderbaker has baked fruit tarts of several varieties for us to indulge in. The tea water is ready to use, the coffee is freshbrewed, and the tarts are nicely warm. All is ready, everybody is cordially welcome. Come in and join in!

If you find a hole in the snow what is there but dirt ... a snow job? You have to face these things from time to time as temporal flushing ... the fertile material is reclaimed in a great mysterious domain ... way out there ... there being words for what is beyond temporal! Big fish will fall ... as in the battle between big money wishing to control natural resources and alternate wealth. You can bet your fortune on it being self destructive ... and unthinkable by a populace that cannot see what's coming from powerful avarice ... messy waters ...

These may appear as H+ and OH - as OH there's the gap! Primal particles connect ... folly? It is a small thing overall ... like a point in a closed circle of jerks ... all jacked out of shape by will!

It is grey with very light snow again in what used to be Sunny Sask!. Fairly mild.
I;n up, showered, breakfasted and spent time battling settings on the computer. Lost a post to WC2 somehow.

Good morning! Beautiful day here, warmer temps are here till late next week. Going up to 12 here today! May need to get sunscreen soon. Anyway, hope your Friday and weekend are great!
We gather once more around the Coffee Cart, to converse, to support, and to connect with one another, and drink tea and coffee. The Wonderbaker has been busy, creating cupcakes in many varieties, for us to enjoy. The tea water is ready for use, and the coffee is freshly finished brewing. The snacks are nicely arrayed. All is ready, everyone welcome. Come in and join the fun!

There's potentially a story there as folk relate such things ...

Some don't as they are curtailed by particular conventions to be silenced ... thus it is writ! Get ye soe'm ... in some traditions that is doe'm and was previously administered ... thus done in, lashed in place? Implications ... anh*owl! Differs from Ca Thion ... thine ...

Eeyores virtually as on Night Eire ... shy, so appearing after to going down ... oh sundown! "You been messing about the back stairs ..."

Sunday morning humiliation ... the descent? "Come on down" you might learn something at the base ... so it sets up ... bones!

In some regions spurs, not for smarts but burrs for the attached to ignorance of what's beyond ... Roman thorn is a cross between "b" and "r" ... a Z ion? Ob*literation ... a dash board? Esse Tell ... what a pile ... like apostacy ... a high point!

Cupcakes for breakfast lo!l I have eaten dessert for breakfast myself.

I seem to be bizarrely busy recently. A church dinner for which I'm providing apple pies and dishwashing, thoughts of spring cleaning, seed starting and raiding of gardens for splittable perennials, plans for Seder dinner.

Good morning, all! Plans for the spring cleaning, and church events, looking outside for anything last night's thunderstorm may have disturbed, and any other thoughts for discussion are welcome, are welcome, as we come together round the Coffee Cart. The tea water is near to oiling, and coffee is nearly through its brewing. Today the Wonderbaker has created bagels, and provided various toppings and spreads, for our indulgence. Let us chat, support, and connect with one another. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come join us!

Had a couple of uncomfortable nights. Bladder seems to be impacted by coughing - maybe?

Oh well. Just need to pack a few extra pairs of pants "just in case"

Heading to hockey tournament in Orangeville today. Should be fun.
