Looks like the theft is going to be around $800 hit to the club. Spent much of the day sourcing items, and pricing. Some has to come from US as from parent organization so no idea what tariffs are crappy shipping costs will be added in

That doesn't include all the time spent, and of course, the things that we won't remember until we go to use them.

growl. People have looked around the building, and nothing has been found.they may have used the paperwork for fires for all i know.
frustrating...

Good Wednesday morning! We made it to midweek, still cold and snowy, but we made it. The Room is open, the tea and coffee are ready, as we think of winter driving, skiing, replacement costs, and an earthquake in Ontario last night. Hope everybody survived all of this!
Anyway, if you have any earthquake stories, feel free to share them. We are here to listen and learn.
The tea water is boiling, and coffee freshbrewed. The Wonderbaker has made fruit turnovers of several varieties for our enjoyment. All are welcome, and all is ready. Come in and join in the conversations!

So happy, I slept for 5 hrs straight. Sign of a healing bladder. I had been lucky to go an hour between trips.

Plus, the autonomic nervous system reflex: post-void shiver is almost gone! It was super powerful for over a month.

Plus, I'm going out for coffee with a friend this morning. The conversation will weave through politics, gardening, Noon, health and all things that you share with good friends. Plus the coffee is great at monigrams.

Sounds like parts of Ontario felt an earthquake at 11pm.

Anyone on here feel it?
One of my team said it was up North, Huntsville area but felt as far down as GTA. So nothing noted down my way. I always miss them. I've spent 2 weeks in geologically active areas like Greece and Iceland and not had a peep. And the rare mild ones we have down here always seem to happen when I'm driving or otherwise not in a position to notice.

I definitely did not feel it.

I was in Pleasanton California once on training and felt one. Trainer was amazing explaining to us. Wasn't big enough to have to resond

Also felt one in Cambridge Ontario ? Maybe 2010? I was at work in a 2 story new construction and the building swayed (per design)

We had one in Hamilton many years ago when I was still working there. My wife was in town (she was teaching at Western and alternating between London and Hamilton) in a high rise meeting with a grad student of hers who lived in Hamilton and I was driving over to pick her up. I felt nothing so didn't know it had even happened until I got there and they were coming out of the building in a bit of a panic.

....just the noise and rumble of snow removal equipment here...makes the house shake a little!
I was reading the Post's article on the earthquake and that was a comment some of the social media posts they quoted made, that they thought it was snow-clearing given we just came out of a major storm system.

Sounds like life is getting more comfy. Yay! Go easy on the coffee.

Nope, and I was awake and up, probably nosing about here or playing a stupid game, so presumably if there was anything to feel, I would have felt it. My house is a pretty solid little bungalow, though.

Good Thursday morning! Today we remember a good night's sleep and coffee with a friend, and continue to share earthquake experiences. These topics, plus whatever will happen today, will come with us to the Coffee Cart for sorting out. We chat, support, and connect here over tea, coffee, and baked goodies; this morning, the Baker has provided us with croissants with several lovely spreads for them. The tea water is boiling, coffee is just finishing its brewing, and the croissants are warm and flaky. All is ready, and all are welcome! come on in and join the fun!
