Drugs and property crime are alleged - haven't seen anything official yet. There is a rumour the guy who tried to hide had a gun but that's only rumour at this point.

Big excitement yesterday here in town...I saw the cops blocking the alley just south of me after school but that's all I could see (no windows on the back of my house). Found out later that the cops were in town for 2 hours arresting two guys in the house behind mine - one guy apparently ran...

Today's kitchen adventures...microwave potato chips (worked better than expected) and a no-bake chocolate raspberry pie. :) The potato waffles I tried making were a fail. :P

I always find my hands get colder faster than my face when I'm out shovelling.
