If Jesus was a vegetarian, would you still follow Jesus and change? Give up your barbeque? Even if the Pope said it was okay to eat meat?

Sorry I thought you were RC......why is Jesus associated with Fish as a symbol? There are many theories about what the fish symbolizes in Christianity....what do you think it's associated with?Sorry, I know that Roasting meat is a pleasing aroma to the Lord. And the Lord is One. The pope is nothing to me. Why would Jesus multiply Fish if he was opposed?
Are you aware that some were?Even if it could be proved that Jesus was a vegetarian - and it can't - Jesus doesn't command vegetarianism from his followers.
Reminder of Christians being fishers of men.Sorry I thought you were RC......why is Jesus associated with Fish as a symbol? There are many theories about what the fish symbolizes in Christianity....what do you think it's associated with?
I think there is something to this Jesus being a vegetarian. He is referred to as the lamb of God. He talks about feeding his sheep. He wanted his followers to eat his flesh and drink his blood. When you think of it if he was a lamb he was probably pretty tasty. No wonder he wanted to be eaten. Gives the idea of lamb chops a new meaning or even Jesus chops for that matter.![]()
Jesus said to Peter, "Do you Love Me?
Peter said, "You know I Love You."
Jesus answered, "Feed Me Sheep"
Holy f***, you GLAMOURBOMB!!?? Totally trippyI have tracts in my car that I put on Darwin fish vehicles in parking lots.
That is the only food offered by God to Adam and Eve. No mention of animals being food prior to the fall.
Fair enough, but it's moot for me since I'm not a Creationist. We know that chimps eat meat which likely means our early ancestors did, too. Certainly the evidence for meat eating among hominins can be found fairly early on (2.6 million years per the link below).

I'm not a creationist, either, but you did ask for a verse saying that Adam and Eve were vegetarians.

Maybe Jesus was Pescatarian ( after all the loaves and fishes) but not vegetarian.
Luke 22:8-15 Jesus instructs the disciples on preparing for the Passover meal that he was sharing with them...which traditionally includes lamb.Maybe Jesus was Pescatarian ( after all the loaves and fishes) but not vegetarian.
