GOOD morning Rev John---You ofcourse you know God tells later how priests should dress , and what they should do befor they come to the the alter of GOD. You will note one of these is to have the blood of an anaimal on them. You may read this in . Exodus 29: 19-21----Not to do so could mean your death, even as it is today. With out the Blood of Christ it could mean your death.Though out The Bible it is writen by GODS Hand we are saved. So He sent The Christ to do just that. By The Christ Jesus Blood and death are our souls saved.

airclean, I mean no disrespect, but at least when it was just unsafe, this thread kind of made sense. You're getting into posting things that have literally NOTHING to do with the issue unsafe was being called on, and as others have pointed out some of your posts are making no sense whatsoever.

To summarize, in this thread:
1) unsafe made certain claims about what Scripture teaches regarding the offerings of Cain and Abel;
2) unsafe was repeatedly challenged to back up those claims with specific references to Scripture;
3) unsafe repeatedly failed to do so, instead citing various other non-scriptural sources;
4) unsafe was declared (by me) to be a false teacher, on the basis that she apparently made claims about the teachings of Scripture that she knew were untrue
5) unsafe declared that she reads with "spiritual glasses," engaging in "spiritual reading";
6) this apparently means that one can claim that Scripture teaches something that Scripture doesn't directly teach because one has some sort of divine revelation about what Scripture means (which most of us would be humble enough to admit is an interpretation of Scripture);
7) because unsafe reads with "spiritual glasses" no one is allowed to suggest that she might be wrong in her understanding of Scripture, and if they do it's because they're worldly minded and not really in touch with the Holy Spirit.

As far as I can see, that pretty much sums it up. I'm not sure what your last few posts have to say about any of this.

AIRCLEAN---revsdd--With all do respect. My post was in answer to rev johns post. So now you want to put what I posted with something else?If rev John is not posting to this thread" ,then I'v been misled.

To summarize, in this thread:
1) unsafe made certain claims about what Scripture teaches regarding the offerings of Cain and Abel;

AIRCLEAN--Which you or anyone else has not showen be wrong.

2) unsafe was repeatedly challenged to back up those claims with specific references to Scripture;

AIRCLEAN--As I stated no need for GOD did not say why.Nor was there anything to show her wrong.

3) unsafe repeatedly failed to do so, instead citing various other non-scriptural sources;

AIRCLEAN-- I noted she did show others were of the same thought.You have some problem with that?

4) unsafe was declared (by me) to be a false teacher, on the basis that she apparently made claims about the teachings of Scripture that she knew were untrue

AIRCLEAN--As I posted to you that you were on shaky ground. Now you must prov it, as you made a statment against a sister.

5) unsafe declared that she reads with "spiritual glasses," engaging in "spiritual reading";

AIRCLEAN--As do I.

6) this apparently means that one can claim that Scripture teaches something that Scripture doesn't directly teach because one has some sort of divine revelation about what Scripture means (which most of us would be humble enough to admit is an interpretation of Scripture);

AIRCLEAN---If your not bornagain. I think you got the Idea.

7) because unsafe reads with "spiritual glasses" no one is allowed to suggest that she might be wrong in her understanding of Scripture, and if they do it's because they're worldly minded and not really in touch with the Holy Spirit.

Ofcours you can say we don't know what were saying. Now you prove it.

As far as I can see, that pretty much sums it up. I'm not sure what your last few posts have to say about any of this.
--As I said fefor Rev that don't surprise me. I hope your able to understan my posts here. God Bless --airclean33.

I hope that I am understanding you correctly airclean. Are you telling us that the grain sacrifices mentioned in Exodus 29 were intended to show the body of Christ that God would send? Incredible! And somehow this has something to do with Cain and Abel?

Not sure how to quote airclean's post since the reply function won't quote it all, so I'll put the quoted part in bold

airclean, it's a public discussion board. Anybody gets to comment on anything

To summarize, in this thread:
1) unsafe made certain claims about what Scripture teaches regarding the offerings of Cain and Abel;

AIRCLEAN--Which you or anyone else has not showen be wrong.

You want me to prove that the Bible doesn't say something. OK. Here's what I'll do to prove it. Start with Genesis 1. Read everything through to Revelation 22. All of it. Right now, looking for the following:
1) where it says that Cain's offering was rejected because it was not a blood sacrifice;
2) where it says that Cain had no faith;
3) where it says that Cain and Abel were given instruction by God on how to make proper offerings before this incident;
4) where it says that Cain and Abel's offerings were sin offerings.

You won't find those claims made in Scripture.

There. I've proven it.

= = = = =

2) unsafe was repeatedly challenged to back up those claims with specific references to Scripture;

AIRCLEAN--As I stated no need for GOD did not say why.Nor was there anything to show her wrong.

So you're saying that if unsafe says it, then it doesn't matter if the Bible says it or not, because since unsafe says it, God said it. That's what you're saying. I'm sorry. I always thought that the Word of God was the Bible. I didn't realize that the Word of God was whatever unsafe says it is.

= = = = =

3) unsafe repeatedly failed to do so, instead citing various other non-scriptural sources;

AIRCLEAN-- I noted she did show others were of the same thought.You have some problem with that?

I have repeatedly said that I have no problem with that - except that she says Scripture teaches it. What she gives us is not Scripture. It's commentaries, videos, sermons and websites. Not Scripture that directly teaches what she claims it teaches. So now it's not only unsafe who speaks the Word of God (even if what she says isn't in the Bible) it's anybody that she chooses to quote (presumably because they agree with her) that speaks the Word of God (even if what they say isn't in the Bible.) Fascinating

= = = = =

4) unsafe was declared (by me) to be a false teacher, on the basis that she apparently made claims about the teachings of Scripture that she knew were untrue

AIRCLEAN--As I posted to you that you were on shaky ground. Now you must prov it, as you made a statment against a sister.

I've dealt with the issue of proof above. If she isn't a false teacher about the witness of Scripture then cite the Scripture that says what she claims it says. Otherwise she's a false teacher who should be denounced as such.

= = = = =

5) unsafe declared that she reads with "spiritual glasses," engaging in "spiritual reading";

AIRCLEAN--As do I.

So you can't make mistakes in your interpretation of Scripture, either?

= = = = =

6) this apparently means that one can claim that Scripture teaches something that Scripture doesn't directly teach because one has some sort of divine revelation about what Scripture means (which most of us would be humble enough to admit is an interpretation of Scripture);

AIRCLEAN---If your not bornagain. I think you got the Idea.

I am, of course, a Christian born from above into the new life of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. I am discerning the Holy Spirit telling me that unsafe is a false teacher, and instructing me to witness to that.

= = = = =

7) because unsafe reads with "spiritual glasses" no one is allowed to suggest that she might be wrong in her understanding of Scripture, and if they do it's because they're worldly minded and not really in touch with the Holy Spirit.

Ofcours you can say we don't know what were saying. Now you prove it.

Again, I've dealt with the issue of proof. unsafe has made claims that Scripture teaches something. So, begin with Genesis 1, read the entire Bible through to Revelation 22. Don't tell me you've done that "x" number of times before. Do it again, looking specifically for direct scriptural claims to support the positions unsafe has taken and declared to be scriptural that I mentioned above. When you find them, let me know.

= = = = =

The danger of the position you and unsafe are taking is that she or you can take any position you want to take (no matter how little support there is for your position in the Bible and even if there's no support for it at all) and claim that it must be the truth because you read with spiritual glasses and therefore the positions can't be wrong and anyone who challenges them must be wrong because they're worldly minded. And`even if it isn't in the Bible, because unsafe says it`s scriptural then it`s still God`s word because unsafe says it is. And those who challenge the positions are put to standards that are almost impossible to attain: prove that the Bible doesn't say that. This is pretty much cult-like behaviour you're describing. This is almost frightening. And very sad coming from people claiming to be "born again." The only proof I can offer you is what I offered you. Read every single verse from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 and then let me know which ones make the direct claim that unsafe makes. Or, admit that unsafe's claims are mere personal interpretations, and that they could be wrong.

Airclean---I do see your point as you believe . I do not think you believe and think as unsafe and I do . I walk with GOD as did Paul and peter . He is with me and helps me to understand things only His mind knows. It don't make be better than anyone . It I believe is how GOD wants to fellowship with you.This is how the early church was showen to walk with GOD. This also how Jesus showed us to walk with the Father. Why dose it surprise you?? We are His children , for Him not talk and walk with us would surprise me. Our GOD is a living GOD I will not say GOD cannot talk to you. Do you understand? airclean33

Hi Rev -- Ijust pull this line from your post-
I always thought that the Word of God was the Bible. I didn't realize that the Word of God was whatever unsafe says it is.

AIRCLEAN --this then is you thoughts.
Watch what GODS word saids--

Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jhn 1:2 He was in the beginning with God;

Jhn 1:3 all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.

Jhn 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Jhn 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Rev The word is Living. I hope it helps Steve. GOD Bless-- airclean33-Gord

airclean, Scripture is the litmus test for Christians. Not claims of direct revelation. Claims of direct revelation must adhere to Scripture. Claims of direct revelation that don't adhere to Scripture must be rejected. Don't add to or subtract from the word. Remember? Something that has no clear scriptural support may still be correct and proper, but should be acknowledged as merely opinion or interpretation, not as the Word of God. I hope that helps.

airclean - are you saying that you and unsafe are receiving new - direct revelation from God? Airclean - do you ever hear God's audible voice speaking to you? Do you believe that you and unsafe are the only born again Christians on these forums?

--Hi pr jae---I don't know what unsafe is thinking. But I believe theres change in the wind. I have been a Christain now for 37 years.I have never been in a church that has it right. I was beginning to think perhaps I have misunderstood what GOD said to me . Finnly this week I have heard two men have wrote a book about what GOD said to me in a darkish basment a long time ago. A new direct Jae ? No an old way thats been forgotten. God Bless---airclean33

Hi revsdd-I don't believe The Bible or word of GOD. Is the test for Christians Steve. I believe Gods Holy Spirit is.So did the early church. The Bible is given to help you to walk with God . It don't save you . Nor dose it Judge you. How is one to be saved? Is it through the Bible ,or through Christ Jesus?

Ah - thank you airclean. It's all clear as crystal now. I see it all now. Each of us born-again Christians is a word breathed out by God - and thus is free to transmit revelation beyond what's in the Bible. Have I discerned correctly brother.

Then we simply aren't on the same channel. But tell me. So if what you believe to be the Holy Spirit tells you something that isn't consistent with the biblical witness you choose what you believe to be the Holy Spirit over the witness of Scripture? Explain to me what happened to the principle of not adding to or subtracting from the words of this book?

Hi Revsdd--We are not on the same channel , may be right Rev. You'v asked , if the Holy spirit tells me something that isn't consistent with the Bible or at least seems to be consistent with the Bible. I then have some work layed out for me. First , Did I hear it wrong , or mix it up? Am I reading more into GODS word than I should? I may also go to another Born again Christain, an ask an opinion. I also may pray GOD show me more so I may understand. We have more than one spirit trying to talk to us. As Peter learnt when talking to Jesus The Christ. In who do they say I am. I don't believe, I added, or have taken away, anything from the Book of Revelation . It seems funny you mite think so. Why would you think I did?--airclean33

--Hi Pr. jae---Hi jae are you being a little facetious here.

What I was being was sarcastic - to point out the fact that you never did give me a clear answer to what I asked you. Forgive me for my sarcasm brother. Now - do you have an answer?

If that ever came up in my studies airclean - I have since forgotten the occasion. Nevertheless - I shall answer your question after such time that you answer for me my questions on whether you believe you are receiving special - direct revelation from God [that is to say new revelation outside - especially counter - the biblical text] - and whether you at times hear God's audible voice speaking to you.

Rich blessings.
