--Good morning Blackbelt--Cain Killed Abel it is in GODS Word and we learn by it.The GOD I follow Blackbelt does not change as man does. He don't have to ,as He is GOD and see"s things as they will be and now are. The Holy Spirit changes us every day as we learn. But one think stay"s static That being GOD. Airclean, I was simply suggesting that rather than constructing posts that answer simply,

"Well s**t, I don't know, so I'll make a nasty unfounded guess at an answer..."

You might wish to simply not answer.

The question was "Why do you think Exodus failed?" (Despite the fact that it was spouting exactly the same Pejorative Crap masking as "Fact" that you do, in a slightly more coherent fashion.)

Your answer was a confused piece of trash. Why do you bother if you don't know? Just say, I don't know. Or better still, stay silent on subjects about which you know nothing.

man does not change, man for the sake of Christ tries and some try hard, but our walk is all an individual walk with God , we are what we are, human nature, and that is why Jesus died for us,

if man could change Christ died in vein

Your "pray away the gay" doesn't work ...... that is what that experiment shows.....
Now why would that be?? ... there are a few possible answers.....
1. There is no God ..... (chansen's position I would assume)
2. There is a God but is powerless or doesn't care
3. There is a God and has chosen not to answer the earnest prayers despite promises in scripture.
4. There is a God and has chosen not to fix what is not broken.
Thoughts please? .... and I do hope the young ones are worth a little research.....

--First RitaTG --You don't know me , I love children. It hurts when I hear some are being hurt . There is help for them with GOD RitaTG but not I believe when some Adults are telling them it"s ok an others are saying it"s wrong. The LORD GOD is The only one I know is right.So I go to His Word to find what it is He has said.I have even ask you several times show me from GODS Word . So I can understand were you get the Idea it"s ok. You have not , nor do I believe you can. I have read The Bible a few time"s . I could have missed it though . So if you know show me, For God"s Sake , That I to can understand.Other wise it become"s ,as I see it and understand. Or what you understand..We disagree , it happens on this earth. airclean33

--You are right Bette . It is not in GODS Bible. Not Said of it being Good or Bad. So Humankind use it both way"s.If GOD had said it was bad. You would not see me here.:)
 
Then, since the modern concept of homosexuality was unknown in the bible (when "marriage" was an economic contract between two men - the groom and the father of the bride), then your argument against LGBTQ rights is similarly flawed.

So ... to be clear .... you are not going to address my question about Exodus International?
Should you position be as strong as you seem to suggest then you should have some insight into the Exodus International experiment and why it failed other than just the curious speculation you offered.
I even followed that up with some possibilities to aid discussion.

From all accounts the principles espoused were applied very seriously and by very committed christians.

Yes, but why do people keep on trying the same thing over and over again, when the failure of Exodus PROVES that the theories behind it are flawed? It is the definition of insanity to do the same thing over and over again expecting DIFFERENT results.
