Which is it you feel God is the cure for airclean: being gay, or living the gay lifestyle? (I myself don't believe gay people have a lifestyle - rather, they have lives.)
 
The church is killing our adulterers. More adulterers have been outed by that hacked web site than the entire population of Canada. I was born with a predisposition to cheat too. I'm not kidding. So cheating is a lifestyle that I have chosen not to live.

At least 34 million people choose that lifestyle. And now some of those are killing themselves... Why? Because the church shamed them? People who read and follow a 2000 year old book of fables are killing them?
 
Clearly, PG-13, there's a difference. One is supposed to feel some guilt for abandoning one's wedding vows; it's quite different than being shamed because you're gay. Or have brown eyes.

As I've shared here before here at WC2, I do not believe that person A can cause person B to suicide. If person B suicides, that is person B's choice. Albeit person A should not abuse person B, and if they know person B is thinking of suicide should offer encouragement and hope, and direct them to appropriate counseling.

And here we have an example of the very baloney that doesn't work and is indeed at the heart of the problem.

I just happen to be more resilient than most.......
And even I have been driven very near the edge of the creek bank more than once.

--Ha Jae what"s your problem? I have nothing against a person who has Gay thoughts. Nor does the Word of GOD say I should. The Word does say however , it is a sin to act on them. If I seen money laying on a table and reach out and took sum. That"s stealing. If I thought about it, an didn't do it ." That is not a sin". Now if I dwell on that thought it could become one. What you do in the world is up to the world to judge , along with GOD. What you do in The Church of Christ is up to those who belong to the church and Christ. Now it seem"s the word (Lifestyle) offends you ,or at the very least you have a different Idea on how to put what a Gay persons life is and how they live.Of course I to believe gay people live. Would you now explain your Idea of there lives an what you call it..

airclean, do people talk about a "straight lifestyle?" Not commonly, if ever. Why not? Straight people live in a wide variety of ways. Yet people do commonly speak of a "gay lifestyle" as though there's one way in which gay people choose to live. Rubbish. They also live in a wide variety of ways.

Not surprising at all.....
Fortunately we are getting better laws to protect us from your beliefs in public venues.
However the problem remains on how your beliefs affect the young ones in your families and churches.
The young one does not have a choice on how they have been created and indeed gifted to be gay.
There only you can make difference in how you treat them and in what you say.
Unfortunately what you say and believe so very often drives them deeper and deeper into depression as the rejection and condemnation mounts. The hollow empty calls for them to repent and give it to God don't work (Exodus International).
They are driven towards that creek bank of suicide .....
Your call ..... you decide what you are going to do .... and keep in mind what you have been offering clearly does not work (Exodus International).
Maybe it is time to look at what does work.....

No Rita TG The problem are those like you who keep saying it"s ok. I have ask before but will give you another chance . Show me in GODS Word , where GOD has said it is OK.

airclean .... you keep your nose firmly embedded in a book and use archaic outdated interpretations that you are comfortable with. One standard for those things you happen to find are opposed to and another standard for those things you would rather have some elbow room on.
That's ok .... most of us seem to do that.....
Grace ...... and an end to the law took care of that ......
It would seem your law is written in a book ..... mine is written in my heart...
 
You know RitaTG --It is about time you stop saying .I am against Those who are Gay. I am not . Had two girls who were Gay lived across the road from me. Had the one who was a good carpenter come over an put a cupboard in for me. I payed 150.00 but she done a great job. We waved at each other for several years . As we seen one another. They just move about 2 mouths ago after 10 years. I don't hate GAYS RitaTG nor do I think Does GOD . John 3:: 16.
