Well i disagree with this because ---there can be only one True Fitting Together as Far as Doctrine goes and we Humans are incapable of fitting rightly together without the Holy Spirits Guidance --the truth of Scripture comes only through the person prating and asking for the Holy Spirits Guidence and Direction ------

There cannot be 2 Trtuhs -----There is only ONE Truth -----the other so called Truth is a Lie ----
That is my view on that -----

Face it ... if mortal you will disagree with a lot! They are like that because of the primary rejection from what's beyond us ... a vast ongoing myth ... un figure able? Sort of Ephraim-able and somewhat fay ...

[unsafe]

At the end of the day, I'd rather focus on Christ than on defending a label.

But if your lable doesn't fit with God's word ---then your Focus is really not on Christ --

If your lable is a True lable ---that Lable will be Christ Centered ------in my view ----

[unsafe]

He's the One who saves. He's the One who keeps His people! HE'S THE ONE WHO DESERVES THE GLORY

ANd yet, because of the wide variety of contexts from which people come/on which people live and grow there can be more than one Christ centered way of living out the faith. THere can be more than one "true" way of understanding what Scripture is saying to us or what God is doing in the world or how God is calling us to be in the world.

there can be more than one Christ centered way of living out the faith.

what is the more than one Christ centered way that a person can live out THE FAITH ____

Have no idea what you mean by THE FAITH ---are you speaking the Faith of the different demoninations ----I am of the the United Church Faith -- Catholic Church Faith -----

No where in Scripture that I know of is Faith Referred to as just THE FAITH ----it is Referred to as THE FAITH Of CHRIST ----it is Christ's Faith inbirthed in us from hearing the word
So you cannot live out a Christ centered life ---without Christ in you ---the Holy Spirit enables you to live a Christ centerd life -----

And that is very scriptural -----

So very confused as to your point here ----Can you clarify what you mean here ???/------

Well GordW-----an unbeliever can intellectually interpret Scripture with their worldly Thinking but they cannot interpret the one True Spiritual meaning of the scripture without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit -------

This comes from what I have posted below from the Study Bible from Bible Hub but I am posting this here as it fits here ----

Fallen people may grasp the facts of Scripture,
debate its teachings,
and possess great learning,
yet remain blind to its saving truth.

! Corinthians 2:14 Scripture tells you that ----now you don't believe it and your entitled to disbelieve it but you can't change what it says ----and just because you don't believe it doesn't mean that it isn't the Truth ----

Here is the scripture ----so this is from Bible Hub their Bible study on what this scripture means ----

1 Corinthians 2:14 Study Bible: Now the natural person does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14

The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Study Bible

The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God.

The natural man is the person still governed by fallen human nature and untouched by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

Paul contrasts Corinth’s confidence in rhetoric, philosophy, and worldly status with the wisdom God revealed through the crucified Christ. Divine truth is received not by human achievement but by God’s gracious illumination.

Jhn 14:17 The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him…
Rom 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God…
Jud 1:19 These are the ones who cause divisions, who are worldly…

For they are foolishness to him,

The gospel of a crucified Savior appeared weak and irrational within a culture that prized eloquence and philosophical speculation.

Yet the message rejected as foolishness is God’s power and wisdom for salvation.

Apart from grace, the heart resists God’s judgment of sin, the necessity of the cross, and the call to submit to Christ.

1Co 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness…
1Co 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews…
Pro 18:2 A fool does not delight in understanding,…

and he cannot understand them,

The inability is spiritual rather than merely intellectual.

Fallen people may grasp the facts of Scripture, debate its teachings, and possess great learning, yet remain blind to its saving truth.

Jesus taught that one must be born of the Spirit to enter and see the kingdom of God.

Jhn 8:47 Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God.…
Eph 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding…
Luk 24:45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.

because they are spiritually discerned.

The Holy Spirit enables believers to recognize God’s truth, receive Christ, and grow in obedience.

He inspired the Scriptures, illuminates their meaning, and conforms God’s people to the wisdom revealed in the cross.

Spiritual discernment does not replace careful thought; it brings the mind under the authority of God’s revealed Word.

Jhn 16:13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes…
Heb 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use…
1Jn 2:27 And as for you, the anointing you received from Him…

What is the meaning of 1 Corinthians 2:14?

summary

1 Corinthians 2:14 highlights the stark divide between the unregenerate and the regenerate. The natural person resists and ridicules God’s wisdom, lacking the Spirit who alone grants understanding.

Salvation, therefore, hinges on divine initiative—God opens blind eyes and softens hard hearts. Our confidence rests not in persuasive arguments but in the Spirit’s power to transform “natural” people into spiritual ones who gladly receive and cherish the things of God.

I say ------So think what you like ---but if your preaching to your Flock what you have posted above ---then you are preaching another Gospel that does not come from God's word ----and that is my view ---

and Paul says it best ------Paul's words NOT MINE ---I just believe what Paul is saying here

Life happens. A really profound god/entity/deity provides space for creation to function as it was created to function. Relationship with this holy mystery helps find a better path through life and its challenges, but does not guarantee protection from random events.

Believe God's present with us in life's midst, jim, offering grace, comfort, and HOPE when things don't make sense.

For me, faith's about trusting that God's love stays constant through the joys and hardships alike. That relationship helps me walk through life with peace, knowing I'm not alone

Exodus 34 ======last part of verse 7
and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

And here God says it again 3 times -----in different scripture -----

Numbers 14:18

‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression,
but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’

Exodus 20:5

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God,

visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

Deuteronomy 5:9

You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God,

visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

I say ----------So now here is the antidote -------Receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and the generational curse will be Broken -----

As Jesus was crushed for our Iniquities ----He bore our Iniquity upon Himself on the Cross ---and took away the Curse of Iniquity == ===for those who Receive Him ----

Isaiah 53

The Suffering Servant

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

From Bible Hub

He was crushed for our iniquities
- “Crushed” pictures extreme, overwhelming suffering, fulfilled in the scourging, beating, and weight of the cross itself ----

Broken family patterns, unsafe, addictions and wounds that get passed down aren't signs that a Christian remains under God's curse.

In Christ, we belong to Him. We're baptized into His death and resurrection. Forgiven for our own sins! ADOPTED AS GOD'S CHILDREN!

The good news, unsafe, is that Jesus has already accomplished our salvation. We live in His forgiveness's freedom and trust in His promise that God's mercy's great

[unsafe]

Tell God that NOT ME ------Generational curse is very much in place today --and that is my belief ---what you believe is your belief ----so have your belief ----talk to God about it NOT ME ----

Human love will fail ------Human emotions take over

Am thankful that God's love, unsafe, is not based on shifting emotions or human strength. When I fail, Christ stays faithful. God's grace stays the same.

That's why I put my hope in God.

Human love fails, unsafe. Emotions overwhelm us. That's exactly why I need Jesus. God's grace stays constant. Thankfully, my salvation rests on Christ's faithfulness

I agree with this -----

I agree with that -----

I agree with this ---but here is where we part and conflict arises with this Grace issue =====

You believe in Irresistible Grace and I do Not ------there is the conflict ------

Again we part ways here ----the conflict between us here is

I believe
unbelievers Hearts are hardened toward God ------the Hurting ----Doubting and Heavy Burdens they carry is from Rejecting God's pulling on their hearts to come to Him --

I agree with that ---it is us who abandons God -----Satan is a master at keeping people away from God -----

God's grace, unsafe, changes hearts so that people willingly and joyfully come to Christ.

Irresistible Grace means God changes the heart so that a person sees Christ for who He truly is and wants Him.

The glory belongs to God because He's the one who opened blind eyes.

I agree that people reject God's truth because of their hardened hearts.

I just believe that when God intends to save someone, unsafe, His grace's powerful enough to overcome hardness

Topical Bible: God's Glory in Weakness

God's Glory in Weakness

Topical Encyclopedia

The concept of God's glory being manifested in human weakness is a profound theme woven throughout the biblical narrative. This paradoxical truth reveals the divine principle that God's power and majesty are often most clearly displayed not through human strength or ability, but through human frailty and dependence on Him.

The crucifixion of Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's glory in weakness. The cross, a symbol of suffering and defeat, becomes the instrument of salvation and victory over sin and death. In Philippians 2:7-8, Paul describes how Jesus "emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross" . Through His apparent weakness, Jesus accomplishes the greatest act of redemption, revealing the glory of God in the most unexpected way.

The principle of God's glory in weakness challenges human notions of power and success. It calls believers to a life of humility, dependence, and faith.

In practical terms, this theme encourages Christians to rely on God's strength rather than their own abilities.

It reassures believers that their limitations and struggles are not hindrances to God's work, but opportunities for His power to be revealed. As they embrace their weaknesses, they become vessels through which God's glory is displayed to the world.

Am thankful, unsafe, that our hope rests in Christ's faithfulness.

He comes to us through His Word and promises.

Like you, I believe God doesn't abandon us.

What comforts me most, unsafe, is knowing that Jesus keeps seeking His sheep. Carries the weak! STAYS FAITHFUL!

"A bruised reed He won't break. A smoldering wick He won't snuff out!"

That's Christ's heart I remember when talking with those who struggle to see Him

[Jaebius]

and who is the Church ----the People who are born again of the Spirit ----this has nothing to do with a Man made Religion called Christianity =====

Jaebius ----finally gets it ----Folks -----do the Dance of joy

He will Return ---that is the Real truth ---we definitely agree on THAT -----

Our fist Calling is to Agape God with all our Heart---soul and mind and strength ====-----only then can you Love ---Agape -----your Neighbour as God who is Agape loves us -----

Everybody ALWAYS leaves out or Skips ----the 1st Command ------

Nobody is giving timelines ----but Scripture is very clear that the Gospel will be Preached to all the Nations and then the end comes

this comes From Jesus Himself

Matthew 24:14

AMPC
And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

The 7 year Tribulation is God's last try to save as many unbelieving people as He can before Judgment comes ----

And Jaebius ---Right now God says there is no excuse for anyone not to know of him

Romans 1:20 AMP

For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity,
have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks).

So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification],

Christianity at its core, unsafe, is simply the faith centred on Jesus.

The problem's when human traditions overshadow the gospel.

Everyone who's truly saved was chosen by God. Brought to life by the Holy Spirit! UNITED TO CHRIST IN HIS BODY!

Christ uses the visible church to preach His Word. Encourage believers! GLORIFY HIS NAME!

Let's, unsafe, seek the authentic, Christ-centred faith that flows from God's grace and points back to Him alone.

What is the significance of the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 7:4?

What is the significance of the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 7:4?

Literal Identity: A Jewish Remnant Sealed by God

Covenantal Faithfulness: Link to the Twelve Tribes

Prophetic Function During the Tribulation

Revelation never calls them passive survivors; rather, they are “bond-servants” (doulos) who bear a mission. Revelation 14:1-5 pictures them standing with the Lamb on Mount Zion, “following the Lamb wherever He goes.”

Their purity and fidelity position them as powerful evangelists who proclaim the everlasting gospel while judgment unfolds (cf. Matthew 24:14).

Their ministry provides a human means for the “great multitude that no one could count” to come to faith (Revelation 7:9).
Concluding Summary

The 144,000 are a literal, ethnically Jewish remnant sovereignly sealed to serve during the tribulation, embodying God’s covenant faithfulness, protecting witness, and heralding the ultimate redemption of Israel and the nations.

Their existence magnifies the trustworthiness of Scripture, the reliability of its manuscripts, and the unfailing purpose of the resurrected Christ who commands history toward His glorious consummation.

Christ knows His own, unsafe. Preserves His own! NOT ONE OF US ELECT WILL BE LOST!

The passage's focus's on comforting believers with God's sovereign care during suffering.

I love that Revelation 7 moves from God's numbered people to a great multitude that no one can count.

It reminds me, unsafe, that every redeemed person stands there only because of Jesus's grace
