Because we are human being with different perspectives ---and interpretive methods and approach the text through the lens of our own spiritual limitations ----

But here is the thing

When sincere true Christians pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide them into the Truth of what the Scripture is saying -----this helps eliminate differences and misunderstandings ----- and can bring a consensus among a group -----

John 16:13

But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth].
Don't think, unsafe, that John 16:13 guarantees that every sincere believer or believers' group will always reach complete agreement on every passage.

That's why humility, unsafe, is so important.

We must listen to Scripture. Pray for wisdom. Learn from the Church throughout history! STAY OPEN TO CORRECTION!

Our need for grace's real as we keep growing in grasping.

Morality is based on collective wellbeing. Stable societies lesrn what is helpful and what is harmful. What is helpful is encouraged by society and what is harmful is discouraged. If society becomes hierarchical, morality becomes determined by the people with power.

Many are against such functions as it may go against private advancement at the cost of/to the other! A hole in the head may reduce thinking of such desires ... thus a sense of draining!

How many brain cells had to die so you could type that without a sense of shame?

As useful as another hole in the head as provided with one with arrow or Eros ... so it goes dually! Dueled to the dirt ... scene from an old Scotch Movie ... poetic in a calculating way!

Humility! Imagine that in a dimension where people are encouraged to be proud of their leaders, kings and emperors while there exists some poetic calculation that morals do not need a king if balanced in a thin place between emotional output and the thought that was rejected ...

Lions ... we need them for self consumption of the spin of pride! Thou' it may insert a lot of confusion, chaos, din, trouble and further mores ...

Mores being addressed in another thread which we are told are evil if crossed and woven ... because of the fabrications in the head man ... or person deign to be so ... thus it baes!

Disturbance can thus be sown into the hemming ... the edge? Sometimes a part of a sword dance ... forming a cross that will kill something in closing form of scissoring ... much like Eccles and oracles ... ogle that! Bet you still will not know ... because of where you're at!

Scripture is much more than what was collected to have great portions rejected as didn't suit the emperor ... why it doesn't stand over time ... EThic missal?

I didn't say it would ------this is what I said Jaebius

The Holy Spirit can give the Same Spiritual Revelation to more than one person in a group ------

Google Agrees

Two people reading scripture and agreeing on its spiritual message is often described in Christian tradition as a shared revelation grounded in communal discernment

Shared Understanding: When two believers read the same text and arrive at the same spiritual takeaway, it is often attributed to the guidance of the Holy Spirit bringing unity in interpretation and purpose.

Why are there contradictions claimed to exist in the Bible?

Sometimes what looks like a contradiction turns out to be a matter of context, translation, culture or SIMPLY READING A VERSE APART FROM THE BIGGER PICTURE!

Other times, it's just a reminder to me that I'm approaching a text that's deeper than I am.

For me, the biggest reason I trust the Bible's because through its pages I've come to know Christ's love.

When I encounter something I don't grasp, I approach it with humility and prayer

Because God is divine and somewhat divided in its emotional and intellectual content ... I cannot say for sure as caught up in the crevasse ... the void?

For believers -----

there is protocol for answered Prayer in scripture for one reason ----

We have to pray God's will and not our will ----

Doubt --Fear -Unbelief ---Anxiety ---Worry ----Unforgiveness ----all worldly cares Block prayers

Satan can block your prayer -----

Key Biblical References
  • Daniel 10:13: An angelic messenger tells Daniel that his words were heard on the very first day he prayed, but a demonic prince delayed the delivery of the answer until the archangel Michael came to help.

We don't think the prayer is answered because we didn't get an answer right away ------so we give up on the prayer being answered -----

God answers Prayer on His time not our time ----

We are to believe that as soon as we pray for something or someone that we have received our request -----but again God will answer it on His Time ----

God knows what your going to pray before you pray it ------He already has answered before you even pray for anything ----
Even when we don't grasp God's timing, unsafe, we can trust Him, "The Lord's good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him" (Lam 3:25).

So I pray. I trust! I REST IN THE PROMISE THAT GOD HEARS ME BECAUSE OF JESUS, whether the answer comes quickly or after a long wait

And sometimes they are simply contradictions because different versions of the stories have existed. SOmetimes in different Biblical books and sometimes they are carried into the same books in the editing process.

And sometimes as means of disrupting your faith in doubting gross power! If powers can get you to believe in power you will abandon the humble ... leading to powerful destruction of that colony ...

There are no contradictions in Scripture -----and that is the truth

Letting Got Questions clear that up

Does the Bible contain errors, contradictions, or discrepancies?

If we read the Bible at face value, without a preconceived bias for finding errors, we will find it to be a coherent, consistent, and relatively easy-to-understand book.

Yes, there are difficult passages. Yes, there are verses that appear to contradict each other. We must remember that the Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1,500 years.

Each writer wrote with a different style, from a different perspective, to a different audience, for a different purpose. We should expect some minor differences. However, a difference is not a contradiction. It is only an error if there is absolutely no conceivable way the verses or passages can be reconciled. Even if an answer is not available right now, that does not mean an answer does not exist.

Many have found a supposed error in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to find out that the Bible is correct once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

We often receive questions along the lines of “Explain how these verses do not contradict!” or “Look, here is an error in the Bible!” Admittedly, some of the things people bring up are difficult to answer. However, it is our contention that there are viable and intellectually plausible answers to every supposed Bible contradiction and error. There are books and websites available that list “all the errors in the Bible.” Most people simply get their ammunition from these places; they do not find supposed errors on their own. There are also books and websites available that refute every one of these supposed errors.

The saddest thing is that most people who attack the Bible are not truly interested in an answer. Many “Bible attackers” are even aware of these answers, but they continue to use the same old shallow attacks again and again.

So, what are we to do when someone approaches us with an alleged Bible error? 1) Prayerfully study the Scriptures and see if there is a simple solution. 2) Do some research using some of the fine Bible commentaries, “Bible defense” books, and biblical research websites. 3) Ask our pastors/church leaders to see if they can find a solution. 4) If there is still no clear answer after steps 1), 2), and 3) are followed, we trust God that His Word is truth and that there is a solution that just simply has not been realized yet (2 Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17).

I say ----you either Trust His Word OR You Don't -------
Scripture, unsafe, is God's inspired Word and completely trustworthy for what God intends it to do. It reveals our sin. Show us our Saviour! BRINGS US TO FAITH IN JESUS!

The Gospel remains clear.

I trust the God who speaks through Scripture, even when I don't yet have every answer.

The focus, unsafe, is ultimately on Christ and His saving work, because that's what all Scripture points us toward.

Grace gives me peace where my grasping falls short ✝️

I totally agree with this ---God is pulling on the hearts of all people every minute of Every Day -----
It is the people themselves who keep rejecting His pulling -----and remain in the clutches of the god of this world Satan -----they like their lifestyle as it is -----and don't want to accept God's pulling on their hearts to come to Him

But you won't believe this cause you believe in irresistible Grace ----and this is where you and I have Theological Conflict ----and disagree ----

You believe what you believe and I believe what I believe ----hence we remain in Theological conflict ----====

this answers one of your Questions -----on why people have disagreements over doctrine ----
Know we disagree on irresistible grace, unsafe. That's okay. Faithful Christians have debated such doctrines for a long time.

While doctrine matters, I'd rather discuss it with humility and remember that we're both seeking to honour the same Lord and submit to Scripture's authority.

Yes, our disagreement comes from different graspings of what the Bible teaches about God's grace. Human will! SALVATION!

Even so, unsafe, I appreciate the conversation

Only if you Receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour your adopted back into the Fold and have the title Child of God -----

But again you don't believe that cause you believe different than I do ----I believe Scripture --you do not ----you believe John Calvin's Theology ----I do not =====there is our conflict ----

Jesus defeated Satan's 2nd death for believers only -----Satan is still the god of this world and Sinners are still under his rule ----and Satan will remain the god of this world influencing people until Jesus comes back and defeats him -----

This is my belief ---if you don't believe that then again we remain in theological conflict---
My convictions, unsafe, come from my grasping of Scripture.

I grasp that you see some passages differently. That's okay. We can acknowledge that any disagreements are real without questioning each other's desire to follow the Bible.

I'd rather assume we're both honouring Christ and letting Scripture continue shaping us.

In the end, unsafe, the Lord knows His people.

I'm thankful we can at least agree that salvation's found in Jesus alone

Truth Preach GIF by Theology Made

Our hope rests in receiving Jesus Christ as as our Lord and Saviour it was He who paid the price for us -----

That is my belief ---what you believe makes no difference to me -----

I believe all Scripture ---you don't ---you pick and choose what scripture you want to believe and then throw out what scripture you don't want to believe ---that is how I read your theology ----and that is why we are in conflict about Scripture ------
My desire, unsafe, is to follow God's Word wherever it leads.

I think we're in theological conflict because two believers can read the same Bible. Affirm its authority! STILL DISAGREE ON HOW CERTAIN DOCTRINES FIT TOGETHER!

At the end of the day, I'd rather focus on Christ than on defending a label.

He's the One who saves. He's the One who keeps His people! HE'S THE ONE WHO DESERVES THE GLORY

I grasp that you see some passages differently. That's okay. We can acknowledge that any disagreements are real without questioning each other's desire to follow the Bible.
Well i see it this way ----as per Scripture ---

1John 4
New International Version
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Galatlains 1
New International Version
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!

So if the person who says they are a True Follower of the Way ----preaches that God's Grace is Irresistable and that is not in Scripture then caution is warranted -----in my view

If a person who says they are a True Follower of The Way ----preaches that God picks and chooses who to save and sends others to hell and that is not in scripture ---then caution is warranted -----in my view ----

Who is this person adhearing to ----God's word or a Man Made Religion

I grasp at scripture every day and the extenuating conditions it imposes on mortals to gather some thoughts on some deliberate mysteries that are scattered all over the place ...

The I think of that old sage that declared god dropped us here to gain interest on the power he created to make a drawing point ... thus the answers are penciled in! The word was in graphite! Figured ...

My desire, unsafe, is to follow God's Word wherever it leads.
and where does God's word lead a person ------with the help of the Holy Spirit it leads and guides a person to the Spiritual Truth and right understanding of God's word -----so it leads the person in the Right path to victory

Not all who claim to be True Followers of the Way ----are True Followers -----they Follow their desired Religion's who lead them astray ------that is my view on that

I think we're in theological conflict because two believers can read the same Bible. Affirm its authority! STILL DISAGREE ON HOW CERTAIN DOCTRINES FIT TOGETHER!
Well i disagree with this because ---there can be only one True Fitting Together as Far as Doctrine goes and we Humans are incapable of fitting rightly together without the Holy Spirits Guidance --the truth of Scripture comes only through the person prating and asking for the Holy Spirits Guidence and Direction ------

There cannot be 2 Trtuhs -----There is only ONE Truth -----the other so called Truth is a Lie ----
That is my view on that -----
