God who is Agape loves all His Human Creation with all their Corrupt self ----but God is a God of Justice and will not stand for Disobedience -----and God the Father Dealt directly with the people in the Old Testament and the people were wicked and He served Righteous Judgment upon the wicked ----and that was His Right to do that ------

Why do good people suffer while bad people prosper?

There are no good people -----God is the only one Good -----

When Believers suffer they can remain Joyful ----as they suffer for Christ's sake -----

Jesus warns that believers will suffer but not to loose heart ---as he suffered first ---

Answered that all ready ----All wealth comes from God -----So God allows the wicked to prosper but gives a warning about storing up money ----and laying themselves out for the slaughter later -----

Because Man had different Theological Views ----and there was human conflict over Doctrine and a wanting to replace the One True God with their own god and interpretations of what they wanted to believe -----but they all took pieces of God's word and incorporated into their own Man made Religions ---

Why do sincere Christians disagree on major doctrines?

Because we are human being with different perspectives ---and interpretive methods and approach the text through the lens of our own spiritual limitations ----

When sincere true Christians pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide them into the Truth of what the Scripture is saying -----this helps eliminate differences and misunderstandings ----- and can bring a consensus among a group -----

John 16:13

But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth].

Why doesn't prayer seem to work consistently?

For believers -----

there is protocol for answered Prayer in scripture for one reason ----

We have to pray God's will and not our will ----

Doubt --Fear -Unbelief ---Anxiety ---Worry ----Unforgiveness ----all worldly cares Block prayers

We don't think the prayer is answered because we didn't get an answer right away ------so we give up on the prayer being answered -----

We are to believe that as soon as we pray for something or someone that we have received our request -----but again God will answer it on His Time ----

If we read the Bible at face value, without a preconceived bias for finding errors, we will find it to be a coherent, consistent, and relatively easy-to-understand book.

Yes, there are difficult passages. Yes, there are verses that appear to contradict each other. We must remember that the Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1,500 years.

Each writer wrote with a different style, from a different perspective, to a different audience, for a different purpose. We should expect some minor differences. However, a difference is not a contradiction. It is only an error if there is absolutely no conceivable way the verses or passages can be reconciled. Even if an answer is not available right now, that does not mean an answer does not exist.

Many have found a supposed error in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to find out that the Bible is correct once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

We often receive questions along the lines of “Explain how these verses do not contradict!” or “Look, here is an error in the Bible!” Admittedly, some of the things people bring up are difficult to answer. However, it is our contention that there are viable and intellectually plausible answers to every supposed Bible contradiction and error. There are books and websites available that list “all the errors in the Bible.” Most people simply get their ammunition from these places; they do not find supposed errors on their own. There are also books and websites available that refute every one of these supposed errors.

The saddest thing is that most people who attack the Bible are not truly interested in an answer. Many “Bible attackers” are even aware of these answers, but they continue to use the same old shallow attacks again and again.

So, what are we to do when someone approaches us with an alleged Bible error? 1) Prayerfully study the Scriptures and see if there is a simple solution. 2) Do some research using some of the fine Bible commentaries, “Bible defense” books, and biblical research websites. 3) Ask our pastors/church leaders to see if they can find a solution. 4) If there is still no clear answer after steps 1), 2), and 3) are followed, we trust God that His Word is truth and that there is a solution that just simply has not been realized yet (2 Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17).

As I look out at the great extent it seems there is a lot more dimension to what is out there than on one wee bit of stone ... sand in flight ... due to some alien wave formation! Flappers ...

It does make you pause and wonder, Luce, doesn't it? When I look at the vastness beyond our stone's little patch, I'm reminded of how God's creation's still beyond our grasping. Whether it's strange waves, FLAPPERS, or things we can't quite explain, I find beauty in the mystery.

The unknown doesn't have to frighten us or be solved right away. It can simply point us toward awe. Humility! GRATITUDE FOR GOD WHOSE HANDIWORK'S ARE GREAT

The sky's a canvas full of mystery, Luce, with shapes and light inviting us to imagine what lies beyond. I find it amazing that the same God who painted the heavens also stepped into our human story through Christ. God seems hidden to people cause of their unwillingness to see He is there -----

We abandon God ---God doesn't abandon Us -----

Sinners don't want to see or know God ----so they---- hid from Him -----

God, unsafe, sought Adam in the garden. He pursued Israel through the prophets! HE CAME TO US PERSONALLY AS JESUS!

While people hide from God, I don't think God's hiddenness's only about human unwillingness.

People struggle. Doubt. Suffer! FEEL ABANDONED!

In those moments, God's still present, often working quietly through His Word. His promises! HIS GRACE!
