When robots get weird...

WTF is "wade mode"? And, frankly, drowning a cybertruck is almost too good for it. Butt ugly, poorly built, and really exemplary of the company's real lack of understanding of what makes a vehicle useful and usable. I have the misfortune of living near the local dealship (a store in Masonville Mall for those who know London) and therefore encountering their demo truck fairly regularly. I did see a black one recently and it at least looked a bit better than the usual steel grey.

I don't know who "Christopher Sexton" is, or what his shtick is, but I like this bit attributed to him. I see a post-AI world.

I saw that too earlier today ... enough to make one stand and take note like a spine in a cacti ... the "orn*eigh" issue of the toad ... bug catcher!

An interesting (I thought) question came up in another group I participate in. It was whether or not you would be offended if you were mistaken for a robot.

It happens when giving set answers without question ... so much we don't know as the ultimate stretches beyond the abstract ...

Depends. If it was online with no face to face and I was mistaken for a chatbot, probably not. Some chatbots really are getting that good.

But person-to-person? Not sure I'd be so much offended as astonished. I don't look that robotic given my collection of tics and blemishes.
