Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

On the up side, we are having a wedding shower at work next week. One of the HR team is tying the knot. I actually thought she was married but I guess she's just been with the same guy the whole time I've known her. Nice young woman that I work with on one of their systems.

Nothing like coming home from vacation to learn that a former co-worker died just before his 30th birthday (yes, he was only 29). He was an analyst on our finance team working towards his CGA (forget if he got it before he moved on to another job). Great guy even if he did tick me off occasionally. Sad to lose him so young.
It always feels unfair to me when young people die.

We used to be friends with a former chief librarian of the city of London and his wife (both long since passed now). They had lost a son young and it really hit them hard.

Good morning! The weekend is bear! The passing of a young co-worker, wedding shower upcoming, the other thougjts from yesterday, and whatever arises this morning comes with us to the Coffee Cart, where we sot it out through conversation, support, and community. Of course there will be coffee and tea, along with the offerings of the Wonderbaker to be enjoyed; this morning we have scones and toppings to indulge in. The tea water is boiling, the coffee is freshbrewed (like at Timmy's, all day long) and scones are nicely warm. All is ready, all are welcome! Come in and join in!

Do we "sot" it or "sod" it out in vast maturity ... pull the dirt over out head and go in relief? So dom ei as if MS interpretation ... that creeps!

At least a bit entertaining ... enough to split Eire ... and great rackets of the alternate kind ... requie M? Something related to the Latin qui ... thus lati nique! Nick of coffee ... stigma or the other? Atavistic in one definition is something of a throwback in time ... pagan procession to where we originated ... micro organist? Thus pseudo Nomia ... and there the masses were lost, buried and sacredly covered in reality ... fulminating mess ... wine and bread evolved!

Such things are portrayed in mythological terms of past times ... all cranked ...

The morning snack invites us to argue,

Should I pass the SCONES or the SCONS?
According to my late mum, scons. But since the town bakery was Scottish, the names of things were a bit different. Potato SCONS, were fried in butter. Baking powder biscuits were what you had with butter, jam, cheese etc, with tea. Tea biscuits were the bigger ones with raisins.

English must be the most confusing language to learn.

Good morning! The weekend is here! How is everybody? We gather again round the Coffee Cart to converse, support, and connect. The tea and coffee are ready; help yourself. The Wonderbaker has created cream puffs for us to enjoy this morning! All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come in and chat, have a puff and a cup or mug. Start the day off right!
