It is amusing to watch a nation fall apart and Christians fighting amongst themselves, thinking current events prompted by yet another leader seeing himself as a Caesar... are political. This is just another example in history of the conflict between adversarial mankind and the Kingdom. The majority of Christians who have fallen back into the world and are being divided among themselves over what they see as a political matter, need to be reminded that they are being duped to be players in a much bigger picture than this one of destabilization. They need to be reminded they are to represent the Kingdom and not the nations of the world of man in God's conflict with the powers and principalities of this world.

Can the truly secular be blinded to this because of the reflection? It is just too great AL -ite!

I did say aforehand that "-ite" is an old word for alloi ... allo there! Thus combined like Mercury in amalgam ... and there were consequences ... leach ate!

Only nothing stays put because no one will deal with it ... so it is out there ... and you cannot argue that great silence !
 
The Current events that are Happening in this world right now in my opinion are meant to happen ----God's plan will play out the way He wants it to -----Mankind is so arrogant ---prideful and Spiritually dead they only think they are in control of what is happening in this world right now ------The worldly People are the Splintered one's -----just saying ---

There is a splinter of the soul that believers are to pay attention to in their own lives and that is making sure they are staying on the Narrow path and not condemning other Believers for the sins they commit ----

Jesus gave an example of this with the woman caught in adultery -----when the Pharisees brought her to Jesus to be stoned trying to trick Jesus into making a grave error of the Law which stated that both parties in the adulteress affair must be brought together to be stoned as they both sinned ---

And Jesus through sin back in their face ----calling them hypocrites as they were suppose to be true Followers of God and keeping watch on their own actions and behaviour not condemning others for their sins when they sin themselves ------

I say -------Believers are to only correct other Believers that are going down a sinful path and Believers are to keep a watch on their own Sinful behaviour and actions before Judging the sins of other Believers -----to stay free from Hypocrisy -----

Believers are NOT to Correct or Judge Unbelievers Actions --Sins or Behaviour as they are Living rightly under worldly standards and the worldly god they follow ------

My perspective as a student of history is that what you describe is (yawn) Tuesday. Christians aligning themselves with secular politics and creating conflict among themselves along political lines goes back to at least Constantine, probably earlier. Even the Reformation has a political angle, esp. in England.

ALL of which run contrary to the Kingdom of God. Yes, the new institutionalized church did whore itself to Constantine, blindsiding the Kingdom in order to work with the systems of man rather than in opposition.
