I had a nice day today. Saw some old friends while at work (civilized shift - 9:30-2:30), although one had bad (cancer) news. Picked up a great Flashfood order after work. For 5.45, I got broccoli, a broccoli crown, 6 indian eggplants, lots of romaine, all the centres usable, 9-10 apples, 3 varieties, and several pounds of assorted tangerines, mandarins and oranges (no grapefruit, sadly...); proviso, some of this needs to be "processed" in the next couple of days - apple pie and baba ganoush tomorrow... Came home to an afternoon of pampering - sipping mango nectar in the jacuzzi in the pre-warmed bathroom, followed by a massage and a nap, and dinner more or less ready for me to assemble when I woke up. I am very spoiled..

@Nancy, winging healing thoughts in your direction. If I can give you high calorie recommendations besides super high fat yogurt, please reach out.

@Jayne, we have specific colour preferences for our bedrooms, my den, the bathroom and kitchen. Outside of that everything upstairs and down is painted in a combination of a very gold-y taupe and a grey-ish taupe; the gold in the front hall and against the back wall of the living room, the greyer one most other places.

Good morning! Test drives, vehicle decisions, snow and other weather. Also sending good vibes to Nany for her recovery, hope it is happening. We gather round the Coffee Cart for chat, support, and camaraderie; as well as coffee, tea, and the baked goodies from our Wonderbaker. Today the Baker has provided bear claws for us to indulge in. The tea water is boiling, and the coffee is freshbrewed. All is ready this midweek morning, and everybody is welcome. Come on in and join the conversations!

Thanks for all the well wishes…they are working. Lots of pleasant busy-ness around here. New vehicle shopping and painting are fun. Man colds are not. @BetteTheRed i can only imagine how many friends and acquaintances you connect with
 
Is there someone that could quelle the winds of irrationalism ... that land where albeit ... few wish to think an enigma through because it is painful to mull up on? Thus mullet enters the fray ... as quelle found her way into the large book as Q'd ,,, very attractive disturbance in some traditions a dissonance of Eris 'nature ... an enigma under the midnight son ... Black Horse?

To resolve the problem enter a white, red and yellow one among others as off they go into the frontier ... the outside line! In space thins could be a fire vessel of pyre ... so you could see into what others would obscure ... carry a small torch! Yet fighter despise rationalism ... don't cha dar think that way is the expression. Can we excise that? Listen to the reactive exhortations about powers giving up anything ... so power must be prodigal ... an efficient enigma ... populace efficiencies?

Now there is a problem without a doubt, or any added thought as we strive to fell the related tree ... DR Seuss elaborated on the Truffula's ... and media creation as a means ... Papa Ruse, as quirk on papyrus? Is pirate another tens of pyrite ... ironic twist? Iron Cross ... really a icon of mystery ... that's X aside ...

Indication that no one was cognisant of the delinquent portion ... Holy Coos ... just Moos 'n! Provides space for rethinking ... after the dip ... ad continuum! i.e. it goes on ... allowing for conception of distant thoughts in pha'roue as the domain of abstract, imagination or darkness of Egypt ... but that can't be spoken of due to vast fears of the dark ...

The stuff we don't know is extensive as the non-materialistic dark energies! A nil ...appears as ghost of what's up river ... it comes down to the drips and drivel ... X-berts! Their condition as forward rights is soon questionable ... and none is responsible ... worrying? Unlikely given the power of forgetting and losing it ...

Colours picked and confirmed with painter, including finish for most of main floor plus stairwells. Glad to have that decision made

Starting on Monday or Tuesday. Will be 6 days of construction.

Now begins to taking paintings off wall. Emptying cupboards. Moving items to temporary living and cooking areas...thank goodness for BBQ.

Now to bite the bullet and confirm trading car
Hardest part is sooooo going to miss driving the m550i. Such a sweet ride
 
We probably need to give the place another pass with the rollers and paintbrushes but if I am going to retire in a year or two, maybe it can wait. Once we are both retired, we might want to sell the place and move anyhow. There won't really be anything keeping us in London at that point and if the kids start having babies, we'll want to be closer to them, so somewhere in Eastern Ontario rather than SW.

I do know what you mean though. Probably a belt or something. Germans love to cram everything in there so you have to remove 10 things to get at one.

BMWs are usually leased while under regular or extended warranty. Not only because of the tax advantages.
 
Yeah, I tend to buy out right. No tax advantage for my setup

Id have to look it up, but it caused my spouse and brother-in-law to suck wind, both of whom do all their work on their Volvo and BMW respectively. Ex rally drivers

Continuing recuperation, redecorating and renovating, auto repair and upkeep expen$e$, and whatever else comes to mind will fuel our conversations round the Coffee Cart. The Wonderbaker has been busy, baking up some crumpets for us to enjoy with our tea and coffee this morning. The tea water is boiling, coffee is freshbrewed, and crumpets are nice and warm from the oven. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come in and join the chats!

We do seem to have something against durability in mortals ... thus the immortal is on the other side as it goes on and on in that nothing called a green mile, still vertiginous? Nous being dizzied in the process ... the spin that's the intimate us as inside ... most just look out so as to avoid what's behind "M" ... the mule or backside myth ... we cannot see it straight ahead ... then the psyche has do it's job of creating fear of nothing ... else ... ain't that something to raise question?

Facets, faces of gems ... a serious item ology or just ethereal joust since it seems mortally doomed? Thus facetious as fatuitous ... if diamond it shoulde be clear to handle the light in various pathe seh? Say what ...

From an adequate well there can be classic words discovered ... thus drawn up! Sketchy ... for the sake of all we don't know ... Sakai? It in the bag ... Shanghaied ... off there somewhere ... thus we drink to it ... DT's? Accept there are all types of addictions ... some of essence ... incarnate?

Should this comfort to have means to an end or used in paranoia ...? so beit as confused with sob eit ... only one tear as a drip at a time ...

Especially not for my wife.

I have to paint multiple rooms in our house. Our family room is "open to above" so it's almost 18ft tall. I'm least looking forward to that one. I have rolling scaffolding, but it's still a big job.

Wonder when I'll get around to that?
