Thank-you for the crepes one of my favourite things to eat, yum.....I will add some hollandaise sauce just in case some are breakfast crepes.
Today I'm thinking about those affected by the incoming blizzard in Ontario. Stratford is under an Orange Blizzard Warning right now.Hang in there and stay safe.
Yeah, that sounds nasty. Glad it's staying North of us but worried about folks I know who are up there. Someone from my company had to go up to Owen Sound from the GTA today to do training for the week. Not sure I would want to be traveling up that way right now until that system passes.

I don't think it's going to amount to much near Owen Sound. I wouldn't mind a dump 45 minutes south-east of there along hwy 10, but I don't think we'll get much there, either. The winds seem to be pushing this system further north. Gravenhurst through North Bay appear to be the areas that will be hardest hit.

Barrie may escape relatively unscathed for once.

I've got my eye on the deep freeze forecasted for next weekend. I'll be standing outside for most of the weekend.

As an addendum to the post about clearing 7 driveways last Friday, it snowed about 2 inches over the weekend. Most of the people whose driveways I cleared of 12 inches of snow know we are away every winter weekend. We came home to 2 inches of snow on our driveway.

I never asked anyone to clear it, but it was a little frustrating that no one even tried to make our place looked lived in. One neighbour even has a battery powered snowblower. It wouldn't have handled the 12 inches I removed from his driveway. It would have handled 2 no problem.

Some of the snow I cleared last night may have ended up on his driveway. Not sure how.

There's a song about fast movers, ____ women and erratically beastly spirits!

After having an other eye poked ... I see foggily ... and thus playing misty is natural ...

Ever note the varied moods of folk drinking straight spirits ... beer makes me happy ...

Then there are the dry and sketchy months ... some doodle ... bad writes? It does allow expression ... "em" does does it ... doddering fashion? There are flaws an breaks ...

I'm seriously hoping to be spared a big dump of snow. Big guy left this morning and won't be back until Wednesday afternoon, so I'll be on my own with that sodding monstrous snowblower, which does not go well.

Now you know what to ask for when they offer money.......lol

I don’t think people think that far. It probably doesn’t go any further than: “he is so good at shovelling, he’ll have that done in no time when he is back”.
Probably.

What killed me was the place 3 doors down where she was shoveling in her pajamas, no one had ever cleared the bottom of the driveway so it was a giant ice dam, and she was content to just watch me clear and chip it out. Not even a thank you. Maybe she thought I worked for the town and it was about time I showed up?

I wasn't looking for money. I successfully avoided payment from one guy and reluctantly took $20 from a woman whose life I may have saved because that was a big job. But to just sit back, watch for a bit, then go inside?

Everyone else on the street with a snowblower just goes outside, clears their driveway then disappears inside again. Like a cuckoo clock. One guy across the road dresses for the occasion in a proper new snowsuit. His snowblower is immaculate. Having exchanged a few words over the years, he has, that I can determine, no sense of humour whatsoever. And the next moment he helps a neighbour will be his first. The guy who lived there first was Adam. Adam drove me to the hospital the first time Carter arrested. This guy wouldn't give me directions to the hospital. Maybe that's unfair, but there is nothing that makes someone human about him. His wife is nice. Poor woman.

Is there room for this here (before some loving character blows me away)?

Is the dear mother earth in reality just a bloc of dirt placed in the night sky to cast a shadow for amusement of beings we do not know? We believe we know all ... but it may not incarnate as so ...

If blown will I present as empty horn? Chaff 'r ... wandering Eire like those Celtic rovers ... wol've hounds ...

Good morning! Thanks to P3 for getting things started, noce to walk in to the aroma of coffee brewing. I did bring the goodies with me, they are the ever-popular cinnamon buns. Looks like the coffee is ready, and the tea water near to boiling. So let us gather round the Coffee Cart, for conversation, support, and solidarity, and start the day well. All is ready, everyone welcome! Come in and join in!

Is good sense kind of fickle compared to the opposed ... non-sense was heard and the matter went to another stack ... twas unheard of ... the crossing of omega as the end? What then damned spot; given the out age? Off times ... due to the fey*th-ing ... Θ that's "tet HA" disruption? It continues ...

Like Aramaic no matter how perceived first languages attempt to diminish it ... is in the base code ...

Sipping Yorkshire Gold tea as I work this morning. Apparently it's a favourite tea which I share with, among others, our late Queen and singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright. Who I hear covered "San Francisco" (Are you going to San ... Fran ... cisco?...) for the new Star Trek series. Haven't heard it yet but his voice would be perfect for that song.

Cold here. Sun is out, but cold. Did I mention that it's cold? (shivers)

Yep, going to freeze to death this weekend.

I'd say "stick a fork in me," but I doubt you could. The tines will just fold.

No, I've got a huge coaching jacket that goes past me knees (for warmth and modesty), huge mitts and dozens of those hot packs. I may tape them to my body.

All the response, reaction, I can think of, involves cremation of Sam McGee ... in those words several metaphors for the devil and advocates ... you'd have to read a lot of myth to extract that ... but it all came out of previous word!

Can the devil be melted down? That Sur ...
