I am quite frightened of it, and quite sure it doesn't like me.

It's also going to be no damned use this week. Probably going to pick a strategic day to move all cars out and pay $60 for a one-time scrape it clean.
 
Good Wednesday morning! Hope all are well. More snow fun, people who can't park without causing problems, snow finding kids to shovel snow, and what looks like an old David Letterman gag, like how many Santa Clauses can we fit into this tiny coffee shop? Sheep in a grocery store... should be a saying about that...
Anyway, we gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, to chat, support, connect, and drink tea and coffee. Today, the Baker supplies us with bagels, toasted to perfection, and numerous spreads and toppings. Tea water is boiling, coffee is freshbrewed, bagel toasting is underway. All is ready, all are welcome. Come in and relax a bit, and share the conversation!

It is what happens with great followings ... vast happenings that are beyond belief! Some folk are left feeling sheepish that they didn't know what was the "goings on". "Losing it" happens ... so retain those thoughts even though some will say knowledge is evil ... these words branch out ... you can get lost in the shadows ...

I purchased a large 44" blower after the infamous ice storm of the late 90's.

It fastened to the front of a 4 wheeler and would take you places you didn't want to go ... rather like a mortal fallacy! Immortal words were raised from such ditches and low spots that it was difficult to remove the thing from ... leading to considerable profanity (albeit the words did energize). Even dual lie we extracted ourselves ... even from the slavery of that machine ... it has been replaced by a little fella ... it can still be determinate!

Could I lie about it or just make up myths that are justifiable ... what would be more entertaining forth eMma out there?

This is all beyond me because as a child in church I was told stupid was best because of the tree thingy ... it could fall and belay yah ... widow makers ... Maqon Time ... psyche bogglers! Woggle s eyes ... out of the way Mime Ane ... Mime'n?

Sometimes in black and white extending icons, signs and other paraphernalia ... line spectrum?

All for the purpose of experience of not knowing ... some never get out of that state ... if you know ... realize you will sink into time ... become invisible ... just leaving behind a feeling ... it comes on hard at night! De Monic's ?

One must ride out the storm ... as a herd ... all together now ... speak out! Blow eMma way ... in clarity a beauty in the dark, shimmering ... something to wake for at 4 in the morning ... to see what comes up in the darkest hour! Flashings? ICU ...

Is a high level of knowledge of alien matters a threat to a sector of the populace?

Finding people to shovel our snow and keep our lawns trim in season can sometimes be a challenge. For those looking for such, good luck. For the ones who do the snow moving and lawn trimmings, bless 'em, every one!
We gather round the Coffee Cart for coffee, tea, and goodies; but also to chat, support, connect, and commiserate when needed. The Baker has made cupcakes of several kinds for us this morning. The tea water is at a boil, coffee freshbrewed all day long, and cupcakes warm and tempting. All is ready, and everyone is welcome. Come on in and join the fun!

Good morning. I am *yawn* kind of wasted today. Woke up early with leg cramps (yes, plural) and never really slept well after that. Caffeine only gets you so far in these situations, too. So I guess I can blame that for the crappy joke. Tea, black, strong.:coffee::(

I’m grumbling at the moment so bear with me. With all of our snow, one would think drivers might be cautious. Think again. Last night a speeding vehicle ducked into an oncoming lane, maybe thinking it was a turning lane but all symbols are snow covered. Driver crashed into a SUV. Now there are four people in the hospital with life-threatening injuries including a 2 year old and an infant. I’m grumbling but also gutted.
 
The most dangerous areas to drive and walk in our town are the two schools at pickup time. Parents flock to the place, double park, block drive lanes, get into arguments and then speed away in frustration. The only collision I've seen in town was at pickup time at the catholic school. A couple years ago, an suv hit my son's parked school bus in the parking lot, with my son in it.

Winter just makes it all worse. I park away from the school and walk when I get him, which isn't often. Yesterday I got splashed with slush from a Tesla speeding away from the school. A student ran to a teacher to report that two parents were yelling at each other. On my way onto the main road I saw a police cruiser so I motioned him to go check out the school, but he ignored me.

Everyone is in a hurry, no one walks anywhere and the kids hardly go outside.

My son lost his bus privileges in grade 3 because we are just under 1.5km away. He walks most days. Neighbours with older kids lie and say their kids do before and after with neighbours who live 1.6km away, so these grade 8s, next to us, get to ride the bus and walk 50m home. Meanwhile my grade 5, given the choice, refused to lie to the school.

We get incredulous questions about our son walking all the way to school, like it's a marathon. These people, man.

I digress.

Winter driving is poorly understood. People need to practice with the limits of grip to understand how they can change with conditions. Skid school should be mandatory.

Yes, people should drive slower. But they need to understand why they need to drive slower. So many people have never had their tires lose grip, and they dont understand what can happen or what to do. Drivers of all ages don't respect snow and ice because they're usually fine. Until they aren't.

Skid school. Skid school. Skid school. The one my wife went to closed down. We should be opening more of them, not closing them down. Make it part of driver training. Make it part of the damn test. Too many people are getting injured and dead over ignorance about winter driving.
