Who knows if he even understands what he achieved. I noticed the Canadian dollar went up close to 3% compared to the American dollar. From the chart I realize this means our dollar went down 2% on the WSJ index.

High dollar is actually good for those of us purchasing services and goods in USD, as I do at work. Even my Canadian vendors (including the company that provides hosting for WC2, by the way) often bill me in USD. And it will impact the CAD prices for a lot of services and goods, too, given that my supplier is often adjusting their CAD pricing based on the current rate.

I can’t wrap my head around these things. To me it’s all headache inducing. I just notice that food keeps getting more expensive.

Polievre would unleash a financial blood letting like Chretien and Martin or worse. It would contribute to further contraction of our economy.

To help give insight I have found Stephen Miran's "A User’s Guide to Restructuring the Global Trading System" helpful

Pretty much lays it all oot
And has anyone used Stephen Mirans' plan and it worked?
Seems it's a game of " chicken"....they seem to be dependent on the US's consumerism and countries moving their factories to the US?

I am finding the paper useful to make sense of it all

As opposed to the various variations on "omg insane" etc etc etc

Please do not purchase American services and goods

There ... someone did declare they would win something or other! They say to wish for the best but to expect anything because folk would rather not reason, or think ... because think's hurt the head ... there I "sayed" it, sadly it is virtue ... we lack and thus delinquents! It wends along ... howling in laughter ...

Dijah see it? In the end does one catch a glimpse ... as the donkey returns? Mia sses ...

That's complex thinking ... contrary to the powers that like it simple ...
