It was a reminder, seeing her, of how long Trudeau has been in office. Too long. I felt for her when she said she was looking forward to seeing more of her dad at home, and less of him online. It must’ve been hard on her to read the criticisms and insults - lots deserved because he is/ was the leader of the country who made mistakes. However, politics is a dirty game (even when it’s civilized) - he wasn’t the only one making mistakes - and she only really knows the person he is away from his job. If I were her I wouldn’t want to be a third gen Trudeau PM (or a Liberal leader) but who knows? Would be interesting if she jumped the family ship and joined the NDPI have to say, Trudeau's farewell speech was exceptional and his 16 year old daughter’s (Grace) introduction was well done.
