Mark Carney, ran our economy into the ground to help Trump takeover Canada and Trudeau is in on it.

Carney has been part of Trudeau's inner circle for years, advising on economic policy long before his formal role.

For the past several years, both Carney and Freeland have been laying the groundwork for a new system of measuring “value” aimed at reducing national sovereignty.

Bird's of a feather flock together.

We may yet see the Coronation of Mark Carney on March 9th.
 
Why is Smith jumping the gun ( or Trudeau for that matter) when Trump isn't even the president yet?
To me the issue of annexation would have been forgotten and possibly even the tariffs.
The immediate big thing he will have to deal with is the aftermath of the California fires, and even if he does nothing, that's what the press will be focusing on.

Danielle Smith also admits tariffs are a near certainty. Danielle Smith want to appease the bully because she share his political stripe. Premier Smith should not be an example to follow.

Trump will be President in 7 days.

In 7 Days Canada will be held to account.

Trudeau and his band of ne'er do wells will not seek diplomacy with the United States.

Trudeau and the NDP rejects are trying hard to ensure Trump does as much damage as possible in retaliation for Liberal/NDP remarks.

Canada is too fractured to do what is needed to turn this Country around.

Alberta is working hard to ensure we have a respectable working relationship with the US.

Despite Smith's efforts to change Trump's mind - tariffs are coming.

Perhaps her efforts may result in Alberta not being hit as hard as the rest of Canada?

Why is a premier doing the job of a Prime Minister?

Canada does not not have a functioning Government.

Trump has noticed.

I watched a bit of a chat with Danielle Smith. She truly seems to think she can convince the almost president that tariffs are bad. It makes her look more misguided than usually. But good on her for trying I suppose.

Unlike Joly, Premier Smith is smart enough to realize that you should
"never, ever threaten something you cannot do"

Premier Smith warns Canada will face a "national unity crisis" if the Liberals follow through on Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly's threat to cut off the US from Alberta's oil and gas.

"Oil and gas is owned by the provinces, and we won't stand for that," Premier Smith said.

Brian Mulroney extended his second term to the maximum five years to give Kim Campbell some time to connect with voters. Achieved reducing the Conservative party to two seats.
 
Remember that politicians and other powers are more powerful than folk in the lower democratic ranks ... yet it may say nothing about underlying intelligence as buried in some Gnostic spot!

Considering that Gnostic at one point in time meant sacred and hidden ... can you remember times when pious relics were hard to find? Maybe even out of sight ... clearly obscured by strange character! What a dubious impression ... and from there many more castings ... so many thoughts dropped and rejected because folk believe that intelligence is so much chit ... thus passing mathematicians ... working it out ...
 
If one changes governments regularly, would this add to chaos so the parts wouldn't know what they are doing to themselves?

The real question is why do we even have to wait until next month?

They're going to give the crown to Carney anyway they have to.

Turtle Island - a common Indigenous name for North America.

I mentioned it in another thread because I have been reading this.

The (Kanata) Canadian election being discussed in this thread is part of North America.

IMO (without demanding respect) this election is happening in Turtle Island.

I will, in all probability, continue to let "us" know what I think.
