Last as I wonder where the parcel I mailed on Tuesday stopped. It is heading to Chicago. I suspect it will have a little vacay somewhere en route.

Depends whether it has crossed the border yet, I guess. Though I hear Americans cussing out USPS a lot, too, so may not fare much better down there. At least they aren't on strike (yet).

Yesterday a piece of needed medical equipment was put in the post for me. Guess I'll just have to cope until it arrives.

That's sad and scary. One nice thing about being in home respiratory is that the guys who deliver the oxygen can also deliver other equipment if needed, saving us and our patients relying on the post and couriers.

I need a replacement Cpap mask. Don't get much sleep without it. Oh well, how could there be a problem for rural dwellers ? Used to be buses to small towns so if the post office was 'down' items would be popped on the bus. A lot of medication travelled that way. Also older people who weren't up to a long drive. Lots of isolated elderly folks here now they can no longer visit family by bus.

Does there come a point when you would ever consider moving into town?

We DO live in town. We moved when a daughter wanted to buy the farm. It is a SMALL town with fewer than 5.000 souls. Lots of smaller places. I came to SK in 1967 and I'm still adjusting to the distances between places!

There isn't a lot of distance between places here in AB but we're still considered too small and rural

Oh sorry I thought you were still on the farm. Would there be a seniors centre or church group that could help?

As a resident of a large city I understand the appeal of smaller places. But they seem to have their drawbacks, too, especially for the senior population.

I doubt there is a location that is perfect for everyone. Mostly we do OK in our small town. We have schools, adequate health care. a good range of businesses etc..
Some seniors in big cities are basically stuck in a high rise apartment with no access to green space. That isn't ideal either.

22:25 Saturday.

Green space is important. Here in Korea, we don't have as much, of course, as in Canada. Especially in big cities like Seoul, Incheon, Busan, and Suwon. I was never a big park enthusiast in Canada. Still, it's missed, and I'm last

There are centrally located highrise communities here which have a certain appeal. Everything within walking distance or a short Uber/ transit ride might be nice.

But I am more of a suburbia person. LAST while looking out at the grass which is still green.
