Hey, you throw a link in here to a WC2 post and it embeds the post. Neat.
Yeah, it's one of the 2.3 improvements. Basically a step up from the unfurling it did in 2.2 and still does for non-Xenforo sites.

What does that even mean Bette? I remember a Jae who left, but this new Jae is constantly thanking people. So they don't seem to be the same person.

Oh, they're definitely the same person. (I'm sort of waiting for a reversion to a more troll-ish behaviour, but he may have actually matured.) And sorry that my memory for timelines lacks some accuracy.

The current version is using AI. There's a difference even now when AI isn't being used.

Grasp why you might think that. My style of posting has, I hope, changed for the better from what you may remember from 4 years ago. Also, the way I write at any given time, and I think the same would hold true for any of us, reflects both my current mood and the subject being discussed. For example, I'm sure you'll find my style of writing to be markedly different when I'm discussing theology, in which I have my Master's degree, than when I'm talking about food and movies which are just things that I enjoy

Trolling? Well - maybe I'll get around to that again - if I'm bored. Let me first get done the multiple sermons that I get to write for this upcoming Sunday :D

Jae, for the record, I don't see a major problem.

I think what sunk you before was your need for negative attention. As I told you back then, I have a similar appetite, but for laughs. You seemed to want to sink your own reputation and it was weird and frustrating because you could be a decent sort for stretches.

Some of your new style posts come off as if you prompted ChatGPT to say something, but be extra nice. Like maybe you're trying to compensate.

You undoubtedly have lead an interesting life in the past few years, moving to South Korea. I leave the GTA and it's an event in my life.

Anyway, if you want to delegate, I'll take a sermon. What's the topic? Can it be about concrete?

That's good, thanks.

Uh, thanks, I think. And, yeah, you're probably right. Well, that and it was some motivation due to boredom and some leftover negative feelings towards the UCCanada.

Okay.
You undoubtedly have lead an interesting life in the past few years, moving to South Korea. I leave the GTA and it's an event in my life.
It's been interesting, you're right. And challenging adjusting to a new culture. And ultimately quite wonderful.
Anyway, if you want to delegate, I'll take a sermon. What's the topic? Can it be about concrete?
Thanks, that'd be great. You can have your choice of the three:
  1. For about 10 adults, on confession and repentance.
  2. For about 40 children, on the same subject.
  3. For the whole church, on how God conforms Christians to the image of Christ

I'll have a go at 3.

OK everyone, listen up. If there's one thing South Koreans know how to do, it's make cars, amirite? So I want you to think of yourselves as parts of a car. Specifically, the sheet metal.

You start life formless, from a coil of steel. You are beautiful and your skin is flawless, but you don't really do much. So what Jesus does, you see, is he's the die, and God is the punch. The Holy Spirit takes this one off because I only need two in this analogy. And so what they do, is they stamp you under tremendous pressure until you look like a fender, which is to say, the image of Christ. You were formless, without shape, without purpose. And they beat you and stomp on you until you fold under the pressure and you take on the shape of the front left fender of a Sonata.

Now you may ask, "Is it painful for a human to go through the process of metal stamping?"

Oh sure it is, and how. And there are workplace safety laws against it, but Jesus operates above the laws of man. There is no need for occupational health and safety with Jesus. He is your eternal PPE.

And so on your way out of here today, I want you to hug your Hyundais and your Kias. Pay special attention to that front left fender. It was stamped in your place, that you might live.

Amen.

Brilliant. I'd happily listen to more of those any day than what the health and wealth crowd offer up. Wonderful

People here would not be aware of this, but @Nebulous who started this thread stepped down as admin of Offtopix, a site using the Xenforo software that he started, a while ago. Not sure if that's why he has not been visiting here or not but if you see this, Nebulous, thanks for your visits here and for the wonderful work at Offtopix. Hope all is well.

Merry Christmas (eve) or Merry Christmas (day), whenever you're reading this :D
