You just illustrated another common woker trait--creating a false caricature of positions you'd like to cancel.
Bubba at the local bar can drink any brand of beer he likes. You confuse personal preference with "virtue." Progressives routinely project their own unctuousness onto conservatives.

As for Trump's alleged crime in the January 6 debacle, why do wokers feel the need to cancel the presumption of innocence? Last I checked, Trump hasn't been found guilty in a court of law.
We agree that Trump is an arrogant jerk. But why do wokers feel the need to cancel examples of Trump's extraordinary acts of compassion and self-deprecating sense of humor? :Hmmm

And why do MAGAdonians have zero problem with people storming the capitol and rioting through the halls? There's tons of video evidence.

Extraordinary acts of compassion? Let's ask the children of refugees, whom Trump's people ripped away from their parents, and locked in steel cages, how compassionate Trump is.
Self-deprecating sense of humour? The only people he deprecated are his perceived enemies, and not at all in a humorous way. Not so much humorous as malicious.

Another crude caricature! You just can't help yourself. A 2021 CBS poll found that only 21% of republicans approve of the storming of the Capital--and by far the majority of them are Trump supporters. I personallly know no Trump supporters who approve of that capitol violence.

Newspapers have documented many, many of Trump’s UNcompassionate actions over the course of his adult life, yet you blithely overlook them in your rush to herald the surprisingly few examples of his ‘generosity.’ Your bias doesn’t seem to want to admit to most of Trump’s dealings.
And, frankly, Trump’s ‘humour’ isn’t that humorous. Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was more amusing.

Just because you know no supporters who approve doesn't mean they don't exist. Also, why are the decent Republicans not speaking up. I know there's more decent Republicans than MAGAdonians.

Yes, there are documented examples of things that trump did for others. Yes, he appeared to help a few people. Being the true, and well-documented narcissist he is, he wasn't likely doing it out of any sense of altruism. He'll do anything that he thinks makes him look good.

Just a comment from one with a degree in English Literature. I'm sure you use the phrase "self-deprecating sense of humour" because you're parroting it from somewhere. Otherwise, look up self-deprecating. Now look at the antonyms of self-deprecating. Now look at Mr. Drumpf. Watch me smile.

And I know that humour is cultural, and that you will have grown up with 1930s American slapstick, so okay, sense of humour? In a crude, boor-ish, misogynist way, perhaps, if acting like a fat white ignorant pig is your benchmark for gentlemanly behaviour. I set standards a lot higher in my own family, but your mileage may vary. You may live in a very odd place, and for that, you have my pity. I live in relative paradise and much more freedom. (Still a bit too much freedumb, alas, lol.)

Yes "self-deprecating" is not a term I'd use to describe trump. The antonym, most definitely fits.
