Thanks @Mystic. I appreciate the frank answer. I fully agree that his divisiveness etc needs to go. In 2016 I was shocked that two old white men were considered the best choices for the leadership of the US. Both parties had some excellent younger candidates. Sadly now that MAGA and it's folks like MTG are still so loud, will more reasonable voices prevail? I understood why Biden in 2016. It seemed a gentleman was needed. That's not a good enough qualification.

Policy wise, doesn’t mean much. I happen to disagree with most of republican policy but I can also see that Trump will say whatever to make himself popular, with zero guarantee of anything fruitful or promised - even for republicans! He could be robbing many of his voters blind and they’d still praise him. That’s how I feel about that guy. He’s the used car salesman who starts walking toward you in the lot and you say to yourself “Nooo! Not buying anything from that guy!” To quote comedian Marc Maron. The fact that so many would “buy a car” from him (metaphor for giving him their support) is kind of shocking - has been all along.
Almost all my friends voted for him precisely because he keeps his promises! But now I disagree with my friends and think we Republicans need a new voice.

The American system of primary elections is very confusing to me. I understand there is some variation from state to state re: how they are conducted

Which promises has he kept?

For those interested
Biden

Neither of whom hold a candle to Canada's President, Obama :3

You are all most welcome

Speaking of ducking questions, we still await your straightforward, non-derailing answer to a straightforward question in the Trump Legacy thread...
Realizing this may be outside the scope of this thread, but since you brought up the subject of ducking, which is also outside the scope of this thread...

Why is the fact that Fox has more viewers good news? In the court brief from Dominion, a few emails and texts are included, that indicate Fox News KNOWINGLY and INTENTIONALLY LIED to their viewers. In the name of all that is holy, why do you consider that a good thing????
I rarely watch Fox news because their pundits are too partisan. But they are generally brighter and better at fleshing out issues than their CNN and MSNBC conterparts and that fact explains why Fox ratings are so much higher than both.
You are avoiding the issue. Hannity, Carlson, and other lied. They promoted Trump's lies about the 2020 presidential election.
But there were clearly election irregularities that Republicans are rightly demanding be addressed and fixed. A detailed doc[umemtary estabished this and convinced my friends. I myself don't believe these irregularities provably affected the election outcome. I ask, "If Trump really won in a landslide, why are the current Biden-Trump polls dead even?"
What this has to do with Don Lemon is beyond me. He's not even employed by Fox News, is he?
Duh, both Don Lemon and Tucker Carlson have been rightly fired by their respective networks. Tucker was the brightest pundit on Cable news, despite his flaws.

Why are you so hesitant to provide a straightforward, honest answer to a straightforward, honest question?

No way. Fox pundits aren’t brighter they’re shadier. Tucker would lie through his teeth for ratings. I’ve witnessed him do very skillful walk backs of earlier positions - he’s a manipulator. He’s applying his Ivy League smarts to being misleading. I agree CNN is overhyped, sensational - it’s like Fox with its loudness and flashiness. It has a neoliberal (not even close to “socialist”, as the further right likes to say - CNN’s actually right of centre by overall political standards) bias. BBC is more cool-headed, straightforward reporting for the most part. Actually I find that BBC, often, is quite open about freedom of expression and telling things like they are, compared to North American mainstream networks, and the reporters and pundits seem well informed.

Sorry, you said MSNBC - I don’t know why I thought BBC because they’re not a US network heavily covering Trump anyway. MSNBC - again have that flashy American aesthetic. I find all of the US mainstream networks and also some Canadian ones, more hype and over-confidence than substance. But Fox is the worst.

Extreme confidence leads one to avoid asking questions and thus we never learn any more about exotic matter ... thus one is tuck when seized with the Teas and Taos ...

I was told by an man of eastern extraction that Tao was related to the religion of word ... on top of that Shinto was to do with silence ... and thus the quiet realm of sol ... that\s all in the sign given as an icon or Semite! It is related to an etude of word itself! Exotic linguistics that people start wars over ...

it seemed he answered your questions?

or do you want your kind of answer?

remember, he isn't the problem. Global Warming, the Billionaires who believe in Accelleration, global pollution, the Confederate wing of the GOP's culture war, the upcoming Technocratic Totalitarian State and so forth ARE
