Let's be clear, he is not the GOP presidential candidate yet. He is a candidate for the Republican nomination. So are Nicky Haley and Ron de Santis. He has not won, even if he likely to.

SCOTUS is taking on the Amendment 14 question so hopefully that will get resolved before nomination season moves too far along.

 
Good point @Mendalla. I should have said "presumed" or leading candidate. Hopefully that will change. I'm encouraged by all the challenges based on section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

The fact he even became president in the first place and that he's still on the political stage is a symptom of the larger problem. It's not the problem itself.

OTOH, a rejection by the Supremes would pretty much kill all of them in one fell swoop unless the SCOTUS decision was limited in some way, say only ruling on whether the Section can be applied to a party nomination race vs. an a actual nominated candidate. Of course, that would leave the door open to start all over if he gets the nomination.

It appears that psychopathy is the choice in the party with volition to destroy sociopathy (any affiliation, or feeling with society or democracy)!

The powers of the law have suggested that that the President can do according to his volition ... in other words he becomes a god and is an untouchable as an additional oxymoron ... thus further crap for the ordinary people to endure ...

Might this lead to blind irrationalities as the bottom line is pushed below the horizon ... is there possibility of things driven down this far to rebound, or resurrect? Imagine digging up such things from the eons of time as a hostile item!

As abstract consideration many absolutes cannot grasp the implications can be negative ... to humanity! Such is the sophisticated matter of life that some tyrants would redact to a simple state and thus we descend ... as a come down it is anon event? Nothing left eh!

Destroyers???? Frigate ,,, thus frigged and entangled in reality ... until later ...

And folk tell me insanity does not exist because it involves the psyche which is eliminated in the drive for volition ... thus thinking is an exorcised function ...

The things ne has to experience ... but often placed in ignore positions!

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa—Donald Trump won the Iowa caucuses Monday night with what was expected to be the largest margin in the history of the first Republican presidential nominating contest, cementing an early victory in his defiant bid to return to the White House.

The Associated Press declared Trump the winner shortly after the caucuses began.
 
In a presidential election the swing voters will kill Trump's chances. Not since the Civil War has American been so polarized.

Policy-wise, I would vote for Trump like almost all my friends. But the USA needs relief from his chronically toxic, vindictive personality.
Americans are also desperate to remove Biden, but because of his growing senility, not due to his character flaws.

What depresses me is that neither De Santis nor Haley seems to have a chance to beat him. What shocks me is that the majority of Dems don't seem to realize that almost any younger Dem presidential candidate could beat Trump due to swing voters.
 
Policy wise, doesn’t mean much. I happen to disagree with most of republican policy but I can also see that Trump will say whatever to make himself popular, with zero guarantee of anything fruitful or promised - even for republicans! He could be robbing many of his voters blind and they’d still praise him. That’s how I feel about that guy. He’s the used car salesman who starts walking toward you in the lot and you say to yourself “Nooo! Not buying anything from that guy!” To quote comedian Marc Maron. The fact that so many would “buy a car” from him (metaphor for giving him their support) is kind of shocking - has been all along.

Is senility an age old problem bought on by the know-how attained and what the reckless would rather not know ... accrue all ... state ... is beyond us! OBI?

Then we depart ... from the real world ... into the abstract ... some cannot stand reality as there's not enough in it to satisfy them ... consider the gains of the world's richest 5 ... at the cost of????
 
In true form does a republic need to corrupt and destroy the entire reality before something can be recreated Beta?

Then the folly, or what we call collapse of empires ... if only for fertility ... the entire tare must be ground up as Uber ... (that's up there or beyond us) ... as mortal we are limited and you may find it a confinement test! Then your out ... like Rapunzel after all that spinning ...
 
I was surprised that he spoke well of his opponents de Santos and Nicki Haley recently....and talked about bringing some unity to the Republican party....hmmm. Just have to wait and see if he means it I guess...I have my doubts.
