My husband befriended an interesting character on his daily walks. The guy showed up at our house today offering crystal meth! I'm a little concerned that he knows where we live. My husband has done a little sleuthing on him too and discovered that he has done some break and enters recently. He came to get a guitar my husband promised him. I hope that this fellow keeps his visiting to whenever he sees my husband out walking, and doesn't get in the habit of coming to our house!
 
Played Corn Hole this evening. God games for B. My average dropped about 30%. Thankful for kind and friendly Francophones who make participating worthwhile.
Possibility of light snow before midnight. Probably between 20 and 30 cm by tomorrow afternoon finishing with rain.

One thing about not being on church board, church committees or even attending, is Iiss the rhythm of the church year. I assume some of you are working on financials.

Good morning! The weekend has arrived, with lots of weather for many of us. Stay safe in your travels. Thinking of those with upcoming medical appts., for self or family members, hoping for good outcomes. Congregations are getting ready for Annual Meetings, busy, hectic time of year. Catching up with educational requirements. As someone once said, 'This, too, shall pass.' May we sense peace in our turmoil, and order in our chaos.

Surprise! We didn't get the snow that was predicted. We seem to be on the edge of a lot of these winter storms. In true Canadian fashion though, I presume it means we will get hit hard later in the season!
 
We had lovely snow, but we had rain all night, now have none.

Thank you for saying this....the weather channel seems to love scaring the hell out of people about weather conditions.
 
It is currently -15 outside. We've seen -10 or so. I think this is the coldest we've seen here. Apparently Victoria set a record that was last set in 1937. Brrr were snug and warm with no plans to go anywhere today.
 
We have close to 20 cm so far and more coming. Fairly heavy snow but not as heavy as the slushy stuff we got earlier this week.
