Too much snow! (though being less than a week back from N'Awlins might have something to do with that perception ;) )

I'm just back from a trip to the hospital for bloodwork. Yesterday was a trip of just over and hour each way for a CT scan. I try not to think about what I may be able to do about these things if I didn't have my special, personal taxi driver! As we age we are both realising increasingly how much our lives take both of us.

Yes, and imagine if they could have timed it so you could do both in one day!

One should just sit still and die ... what some administrators wish so costs could be reduced for the commissioniing ...

Sometimes it leads to some good resources just departing ... becoming part of thought that is now beyond us ... out there as the great OBI bunch ... some say Tobiah ...

Chaos ad continuum ... for when you lose it as Lucified? As ferror state perhaps luciferrous? Diabolical irony ... all in the stab of the word ...

Hi everyone, happy February! Happy weekend! Good times. :)
Hi, Nebulous. How's things over there? Too much cold and snow here. Was out shoveling again today. Had to widen the area of the driveway that is cleared so I can get my new car in on Monday.

Things are great over here! Cold for California standards but no snow.

It has actually warmed up here. Still some snow on the ground but it is receding (for now, it is too early to proclaim the end of winter here). Even went for a walk yesterday, though it was still a bit chilly for that.

We had sunshine and 4 degrees this afternoon, then a little blizzard this afternoon, now it's settle down to a lovely sunset. I am home and staying here.

Very different micro-climates, really. And I can see pretty large variations here, in fact, depending on where in relation to the deep lake basin you are, and then, not really far north, Georgian Bay. I don't make firm plans to meet my sister in winter.

It's sunny here. We had some strong wind gusts along with wind warnings. We're still in the same spot as we were before the wind. :)

More likely than the ancient ultralight tent trailer I appear to be inheriting from my godfather via my sister. My tiny new Impreza is going to tow it, so it's not the heaviest thing. Although I have slept in it in Lake Huron generated summer thunderstorms and it never leaked, nor blew over. It's also managed freak summer snowstorms in Newfoundland while being travelled in by my godfather and my Uncle John.

We are under a special weather statement warning of 80km/h gusts. Haven't been out since 2-ish to see but it was fine then so not sure if it is coming or not.

It's gorgeous here. 9 degrees and sunny. Hound and I are going to enjoy a late afternoon walk (just home from work recently having delivered a card and some chocolates to the absent big guy, as well as 5 lbs of meat for the chili I volunteered us to make for Sunday's Congregational Meeting lunch).

It was a beautiful walk and I timed it with the sunset, which, while not spectacular, was pretty. And the hound got in lots of rolls in the "Moon of the Crusted Snow".
