I'm cranky today. Trying to ease my way out of it. It's beautiful outside and I should be filled with gratitude, not crankiness.
I can relate to that cranky feeling too sometimes. Good for you for recognizing it. I think sometimes we just need a day like that, don't know why, but it happens. No need to feel guilty. Tomorrow will be a fresh new day.

I listened to CBC yesterday on and off. I find there is indigenous music which might sound great as life music at a powwow but on the radio I find it rather annoying. Same feelings/ experience I have with jazz. Am I even allowed to say this?
I heard a poem/ story from someone I didn’t catch the name, but it was called “ the monster” and described the feelings about a residential school. That was very impressive.

Good morning! Walks and fall colours, and lots of other things, including Truth and Reconciliation Day (to which I was going to pay tribute... well, will do so today. The coffee cart is ready, come and get it.

Understanding the heart ... does it have bloodlust given what it can pass through it in a short time?

When the heart sees more red does it accelerate? It appears an overwhelming situation for the blood brain conflict ... resulting is cereus drips being filtered out ... Oz Moe Cis? High Drae Shun, or highdr æ shun and we ask what's an æ shun ... but when Anæ avoids you ... like Ani in other traditions and societies go for bust as running a breast! Then we loose Ide ... like lucid aspect! As is will always be picked at for more and thus bones of the ole thing in arid places while searching out the chalice ... dear departure!

What would we know without a heart felt story of thorn in the side turning at right angles to pa*thee of ass ... something to feel in experience in life as the colon resists movement! Last stand ... is hard perpendicular ... knows chit and small talk a schat ... while the autonomous will hear nothing of it ...

CNN just made a relation of intercourse, discourse and accrue coarse! If the bloody situation can be gathered for examination ... inquisition? Alice; don't look is the demand and thus psyche fails us ... lo' intellect! Flat out by tradition ...

Good morning. This morning was an early one. The park we're in changed the rules and we can only book for next year on October 1. I got to the office at around 7 and the line already had about 20 people. We did not get the site we're in for next year. :( We did get a nice site that will work. I guess we'll have to adapt

Changing rules like that make ape grumpy. I'd be looking for a new park and giving them the average of my index finger and my ring finger ;) but maybe I'm just being cranky.

Saw lots of fifth wheels and other RVs as we were driving around Eastern Ontario and Quebec this week. We realized late in the game that maybe we should have rented a small trailer or RV rather than dealing with hotels/B&Bs each night. We have a hitch on the CR-V now that we put on for our bike carrier but the car has enough towing power that we could probably do a tent trailer or even a small regular trailer.

Good morning, all! Happy Sunday! Today is an anniversary-- 72 years ago, on Oct. 2, 1950, the first 'Peanuts' strip was published. Let us celebrate! The coffee cart is up and running, come join us. Also, in commemoration of this day, root beer will be available.

Good morning,
I am off today to Bingo at the drive in theater, last one of the season and roughly $20 000 to be won in different games ( the cookie jars). Taking three friends with me to chat, as there is parking for 400 cars and the line up will b e long, so we get there 1.5 hrs in advance and chat and have lunch.

Amen! Hoping @paradox3, aka Snoopy of WC2, can join us for the party. Peanuts was still "live" when I was a kid, with the strip still going on plus TV specials and series. Charlie Brown Christmas is still a favorite of mine. A toast to Charles Schulz, who was a huge influence on the creation of comic strips as we know them today.

Did some cleaning this morning. Have been doing some writing. Not sure what else is on the docket. There is a series on Ancient Egypt that has a number of episodes up on Youtube, so maybe that.

Ah ... a Sunday afternoon party! Best of the best! Happy Snoopy Day!

I've been out in the garden a bit & will pop over to my school garden after lunch. Have some beans, greens, zucchini & cucamelons growing for autumn harvest.

I've also read a couple of stories just now of finalists in a short story memoir contest - alerted to this by a friend who's dtr (who I also know) is one of the authors - story is titled A Chicken's Laugh. Here's a link to the finalists for anyone interested.

Read an article from the NY Times from Aug 7 on Longism or things beyond now ... not for the short centered type like "o" ... more for those in it for the greater good!

Oh, first risk of frost night announced for tonight. Picked my swiss chard and made a strudel from a recipe my sister send me. However, had to change some ingredients because I didn’t have them, so will see how it turns out.
One person won $6000 at Bingo this afternoon, bet she is partying tonight, too.
We had a lovely time, but no winnings.

Yeah, frost warnings starting to show up here in Ontario, too. Time marches on.

Nice walk this afternoon. Swung through the woods near my house, then put my buds in and listened to a podcast about the Egyptian temple at Karnak as I did my regular street route.
