Never darned a sock in my life bit I know how it's done in theory. Kind of like playing chess. I know the rules but not how to actually play the game.

I know the rules but I'm not exactly a stellar player. I once beat one of the top players in my high school, though. He didn't show up so I got it by forfeit. :ROFLMAO:
Niece was supposed to teach me - she set up the board and that's the LAST time I saw her here

I know how to play it. My godfather taught me when I was about 7, I think. However, I never really developed the opportunity to see several potential moves down the road (a spatial thing, as much as anything), so I never got very good at it, nor enjoyed it much.

May I suggest backgammon?

Simple rules. Complex strategy. Big element of luck. It can be a gambling game or not.

I've played backgammon, as well; my youngest sister was into it for a few years. The only game I've played a LOT in my life is euchre. And it's luck coupled with strategy, as well.

I taught Claire to go in the opposite direction.

Thus the duke's wife an earn offended as not earl but Urn as isolated knowledge ... Dame of the establishment?

My dad's sisters were significant in size etc. verily scary! What is such earn ... but an urn and a place to put it for later ... as told me by an ancient lass, grand Mother to someone! Go est on ... a Ton more ...

Out the door in 15 mins to go finish setting up my art exhibition :)

Very humid day and the mosquitoes are thick...my poor body feels like roadkill :P

Warm and muggy here for the next couple days as well. Could be worse, I guess. Mosquitoes are never too bad around the house but when I cut through the woods nearby on my walks, yeah.
