It was a very good day with a short hike this morning along the canal, some plant specials when getting groceries, transplanted a small pine tree that was in the poison ivy patch that is going to get sprayed on Monday, got a big patch of tall grasses and flowers mowed short to clearly isolate where the poison ivy is, had a few fresh peas from the garden, and ribs and cucumber salad for supper.
Nice!

Does vertiginous matter make you dizzy? I read on the news that goats have been turned loose in NY parks to eat weed ... what's the chance of them getting high?

Now there were some middle eastern characters that approached the mountains of Persia in an old goat mode ... all about highs! The went in relief to cracks and crevasses ... there is a motif hidden there ...

Imagine HU can't observe it ...

No wind down here...enjoy :)

It was windy here yesterday. The wind slammed the outside door shut a couple of times. When it's open it's kept open by a magnet. I was sitting on the steps and got in its way. Ouch. I now have a bruise on my cheek and a scratch down my neck because the corner of the door hit me. I got ice on it right away so the bruise isn't as bad as it could have been.

Ouch! Hopefully it heals quickly

Gorgeous weekend here. Sunny, breezy, not too hot.

Sunny and breezy here too. Our "breezes" are gusts up to 60kph. We're thinking even a bit higher. This is prairie land. We're parked on a friend's yard. The house is a bit of a wind break and that's welcome thing.

A breeze would be nice - not a 60kph gust - to move the air around

I just found out that quack grass is edible!? o_O  I might have to rethink the "hayfield" growing behind my garage that I haven't gotten to yet

It's a perfect day here. Has been a perfect weekend for the Mariposa Festival just north of here, in Orillia. It's funny that I've never been in all the years it's been going on, and considering my fondness for music, but I enjoy vicariously through friends' posts and reports.

Getting nicer here now that there is a slight breeze

I've only been to London's myriad summer festivals a handful of times. This weekend is Sunfest, which I haven't been to in years. Rocks the Park is soon but there aren't any acts coming that are worth me paying the money. A few that I like but none that are "can't miss." Now if I was in Europe...damn, the lineups of some of the festivals over there are just insanely good. Crowded House (now mostly consisting of singer/songwriter Neil Finn and his kids) has been doing that circuit and I saw part of one of their gigs. And, as I have raved about in other threads, I have been feeding my newfound metal addiction with livestreams and videos from those festivals.

I used to love Londons Balloon Fest, but I guess that is no more.
