I'm busy de-decorating, not shopping today. Will wait till tomorrow to venture forth.

I always hate to de-decorate! So I will leave our tree up until sometime in early January no doubt. Last year we left the mantle garland in place for quite a while after all the other decor was put away - it is lit and brightens up the long winter evenings so nicely.

I've been reading & dreaming my way through "Saltwater Classics" - a book of Newfoundland/Labrador knitting history & patterns - gift from a friend this Xmas. It's quite delightful. May start an "escape room" jigsaw puzzle later today - we're forecasted for freezing rain later :-( so there will be no escaping the house!

Is the Xmas suite started off in the dark ... perhaps as a mystery in a domain where all believe they know everything?

I admit to knowing little and thus a salle for that ... expect weird things that we previously mist or vaporized in denial ... down the rabid hole ...

In deep space they disassemble everything ... thus degeneration! May come up in loop hole analysis in chance experiments that have been tried and are trying ...

There is little curiosity among those with great belief they can contain it ... and yet much is quickly forgotten as in de mended ... rip purse ... snatchers ...????

Activity beheld by those depleted of necessities by those wishing to possess everything that is irrational! Yet poorly observed by the subject side of the gerund ... a word! Aye what? Not for those deficient in literacy as taken too literal! Curiosity becomes set as semiotic ... the word indicating that an icon would be provided and yet denied by a mass in a mess ...

Imagine powers that believe they can control those starved of necessities ... and becoming negative forces below their visors ... supposed advisors? Can these corrupt all cabinets and wardrobes? Out of sight ...

I'll be braving the roads later today. I need some thread and some currugated plastic for the bottom of the bag I made. Hopefully Michael's has it.

Stores are so frustrating these days ... following the rule of confusing the client causes irrational behaviour ...

They don't understand the deeper consequences! Shallow rages should be avoided ...

I'm staying home today. Not sure why, but I don't feel like shoveling or wading through deep snow (up to my shins anyway). Hubby studiously ignored the snow and left the driveway with the snow still in place. He is hoping our son will arrive with his handy, dandy snowblower!

It's cooold! Chemguy picked up my HAEgarda todsy, he said the hospital was quiet which is good. Hopefully by next pickup this wave will be at its end.

Need to figure out New Year and Jan 6th plans. Likely just need some grocery orders in place plus maybe 1 restaurant. I would also like to take the kids to see Christmas lights, but it needs to warm up enough and lots are down by Jan. I'm not even sure what day the kids are going back home.

I went out to get thread and corrugated plastic from Fabricland and Michaels today. Both are at the north end of town and I'm in the south. It's winter here. A day for good tires and winter driving skills. Most people were being reasonable. It was easy to tell who didn't have decent tires.

Now I'm home and staying here.

Could you tell who wasn't knowledgeable about anything? Therefore nothing from which love is irrationally derived! If said properly it can give desired chaos to all ... like sheep heading down the road ... insanity is not easy to determine you know ... why we have the DSM! Tis another hated book ...

Shopping done between 5.30 and 7 pm. Benefit of living rural- I was the only one at Cleve‘s. I was at Canadian Tire 30 minutes before closing, pretty empty there, too. Got Christmas lights for half price, mine broke half way through Advent. Even Walmart was not busy. No waiting at the cashier anywhere and only one or two open.

My purchase was a fun one. My cat always needs new bowls. The dog gets her leftovers from the day before as an appetizer before dinner each night. Plastic and metal bowls are easily picked up and taken outside to be buried. Ceramic bowls not so much. Some cute little grey pottery bowls came into the store a month or so ago as a "mis-pick". A little too pricey for cat bowls at original price, but just fine at 50% off. And I was looking for cranberries, fresh, frozen or canned, because the one thing that daughter's dinner yesterday was missing was cranberries, but they are nowhere to be found in the store.

Good morning! A new day is dawning. May it be filled with wonder. As we think about winter driving skills, shopping, and a myriad of other topics, ;et us gather round the cart for hot beverages and conversation.

Good morning , Red, and all others.
We have -6 and are expecting a little bit of snow in the afternoon. Today will be a day to write letters for Amnesty’s Write for Right campaign alternating with cleaning the house. Decorations will come off next weekend and snowmen deco will come out.
Question for all- what do you do with gifts so useless you can’t even regift or sell on a yard sale? There is this friend of a friend who means well and often buys stuff at stores as a “special” -and now I have a religious plaque and a candle holder that looks like a mini urn, stating that I am the most precious friend in her life ( we are more acquaintances than friends). We are not that close, so she never comes to my house, so I think I am safe to say
“ Value Village”. It just shocks me, that , if she would mean that, she really doesn’t know what friendship is….
