Mine needs a new back tire, really. Tread is pretty worn. Might hold off, though, in case I decide to replace the bike next year.

Yeah, probably not as easy as in a city like London. I have two Sportcheks in range of home and a third near work plus the city has several bike shops.

Alix Home Hardware had a seat and the guy put it on my bike for me!!!!!!! He couldn't believe I was able to bike at all as he said my seat was set way too low so he raised it up! Will be interesting to see how that affects my ride tomorrow. I also made a quick trip to the greenhouse to buy another hanging basket as 1 of mine died in the LAST heat wave...my strawberries are all dying too

Yeah, you definitely want the height correct. Did he show you how to adjust it? I find I sometimes have to make adjustments.

Is your bike quick release or do you need a wrench? I have a quick release seat and front tire but find that mechanism has its own issues.
