1 pm and it's 91F in the shade...thankfully there is a breeze so I have great air flow through the house. Way too hot in the solarium to open the sales though

Chris is the operator of the Whistle Stop - the restaurant on the highway that I was giving you fine folks updates about as he continued to defy restrictions, health orders, etc...I personally think that they should forget about the covid restrictions he broke, as he was operating illegally after he lost his food permit and liquor licence in April (but that's just my opinion) I don't personally know the others, but I did hear about what they did at the time.

I haven't purchased anything from there for 3 or 4 years for various reasons that had nothing to do with the pandemic...I do drop papers off there.
 
96F in the shade on the N side of the house...weather channel and news said we didn't get higher than 90...I don't even want to know what the temp is in the direct sun
 
We hit 42 today. We were outside in 41. It felt like being in an oven. Thank god it wasn't humid too
 
I'm not sure where our humidity/dew is coming from as we are very dry here - and temps are much higher than the dew point but everything was very damp this morning...actually felt like that clammy September morning feel and there was a mist rising off the creek west of town and the school grounds were covered in a low mist. Second morning I was out shortly after 4:30 AM to bike...I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever be doing something like that!!
 
12:10 and it's now 96F in the shade on the north side of the house but with the humidity it feels like over 100F. Happened to glance out of the window about an hour ago and the driver was parked outside with my papers! So that means I can get an early start (fingers crossed) on the deliveries and not have to wait till Friday to do them all...since the heat is continuing.
 
yesterday got up to 102F on the north side of the house in the shade...I was out biking this morning at 4:30 AM and it was a humid 65F :P Took off at 5:35 AM to deliver the papers...home at 11:45 as I did the whole thing today - probably shouldn't have...I ate and now I need to collapse in a very cool location
 
It is NASTY HOT :eek: Thankfully after noon the humidity drops so it's a dry heat with a breeze but once it's over 100F, it really doesn't make much difference
 
Thanks to FB, I was reminded that my makeover was finalized 4 years ago today...which means my avatar pic is 4 years old already
 
I've biked 6K every morning for a week!!!!!!!! FB gave me my LAST chance reminder to register my page as News or it will be changed - since I am unable to register it (since FB wouldn't let me!) and one cannot get any real help from FB :P I changed to Magazine as that's the next closest category and hopefully there are no issues and I can keep the page (fingers crossed)

Hope that works. FB's PITA factor is rising rapidly, in their "improvement" activity.
