Still quite cool here, -6, but very bright and sunny. Lucy and I have a walk planned for later this aft, followed by dinner out with my "bubble", Dorothy across the road, for sushi.

I woke up to sunshine streaming in the windows. It rained through the night so was nice to see. Dog and I had a nice walk. The rain started a couple minutes after we got inside.

I'm going to get the sewing machine back out and will work on the Victoria's Quilts quilt I'm making.

I wrote a letter to my niece and put together a birthday package for 1 of my Aussie buddies - they are now ready to mail tomorrow

Yes, probably true. Being in the physical space of the sanctuary and having the buzz and even the awful church coffee probably all contribute to staying awake.

Also, communion was wyrd this a.m. No grape juice in the house, but there was wine, so here was I having a slurp of real wine at 11:20 a.m., speaking of going back to sleep...

Luckily no wind here today. Still the weather is not to my cat's liking. I took him out the back door and he walked about 10 steps then gave me a look that said, okay that's enough let me back into the warm house.

Sometimes I just want a total break from a screen as everything seems to require screen time now

Agreed, one of the reasons I go for walks even in chilly weather is to have a break from computer/tablet/phone. Hope I can get back on the bike by summer and really get away for several hours at a time.
