Well, today is my son's birthday, and in honour of that (and just because I finally gathered all the bits together, including making homemade chocolate truffles), his parcel has gone in the mail, as well as my secret Santa gift. Now, I will write a few late Christmas cards (I don't send more than a dozen, in total), and cross that off my list.

I just have sis's family's gifts to do and a couple of local ones - all others are done and ready to deliver tomorrow...cards are not happening this year except to some extra special family friends...side note: it is interesting the number of "family" friends I have had ZERO contact with this year now that mom's gone.

The desk I have for sale should (fingers crossed) be picked up today! They really want it but have been stalling since the end of Sept about getting it and yesterday asked if they could get Boxing Day as they are too busy preparing for Christmas...I said this weekend (as planned) so I can get ready for Christmas!
