Yeah, I've never had a dog I could carry. With all of my dogs, once they get to a certain age, you know what their range is, and turn around half way through it. Buster the Basset Hound used to just lie down, and you just had to wait. He was 60 pounds of a barrel body and ears to the ground. When he stopped, it was like a concrete mixer stopping.

Good to 'see' you, YJNK. Is your bike away for the winter yet?

Not biking weather where I am. Wind and snow yesterday. Wind and snow overnight. People are working towards getting out to the road. We were just about to put out an 'ask' on FB for snow clearing younger folk when a neighbour offered the use of his blower. Poor hubby is working away at that job. So much snow the blower is difficult to edge along. Hopefully the plough will be round before we need to go and vote in the municipal election.
One kid is snowed in. One is shoveling out. One has machinery to do the job. One is in Miami wondering how bad the possible hurricane will be.

Thankfully the snow and blowing has stopped here but the temps are brutally cold...I have an acupuncture appointment today

Hi Bette, the bike has been away for quite awhile now. Health is not letting me ride. Looks like more tests then chemo will probably start in December. Also, with snow last couple of days would not have been riding anyway. o_O

I'm sorry you're in a position to need chemo. Feel free to reach out if you have questions I can answer or if I can support you. Chemo is scary. At the same time, nurses in chemo clinics are amazing. If they give you drugs to manage side effects TAKE THEM! There are some good drugs now. All the best to you

Yay for cardigans. I will wear my blue cabled cardigan that is a covid project. I will be wearing it a lot I'm thinking.
