No, Biden having compassion and understanding, and some functioning brain cells (which Trump lacks) is what makes him better. Joe Biden being a decent, intelligent human being owes nothing to Trump being a nap deprived 2 year old mentally.

Did somebody already post about this? :ROFLMAO: I knew the Four Seasons place was not a standard hotel conference room or lobby - then found out it was a garden centre (still attached to the hotel I thought except idk why a hotel needs a garden centre) but I didn't know it was a little store between an adult bookstore/ xxx shop and a crematorium! :ROFLMAO: that's hilarious! Probably got pranked by a fed up junior staffer.

You see the doddering old man eating ice cream enough times and it becomes difficult to marry him in your mind with the butcher who played a crucial leading role in advancing the Iraq invasion which killed a million people and ushered in an unprecedented new age of military expansionism.

But the important thing is that he won't be making rude tweets and bungling coup attempts in the Global South. He will be a Competent Grown-Up.

He will pilot the insatiable death machine with grace and decency, right into the homes of the world's most vulnerable.

Let's just forget how many more children they'll kill.

@Ritafee you're such a ray of sunshine. Whine, complain, grumble. What do you suggest is a realistic solution.

Why do you keep insisting that my pointing out the truth of the situation is whining and complaining and grumbling ... and your ignoring it all together is somehow virtuous. Stop ignoring the truth is what I would suggest for starters. Biden is part of the problem ... not the solution.

So @Ritafee are you a Trump supporter?

Yes, you point out "the truth". It's rather like the kid who said the sky is falling or who cried wolf too many times. It's hard to take seriously at such a volume of negativity. Having a solution focus is more effective. Do you even have a solution to offer?

Yeah, "don't vote"... That's the only consistent answer I've seen. And I don't understand how not voting helps. (Except that it doesn't entitle you to discuss politics at the level you didn't vote - in my home.)

I've read a lot of Stephen King over the years. Not the "nicest" of people, perhaps (I don't know what kind of mind cultivates some of the psychological terror of which he's a master), and doesn't strike me as terribly patient. But I do love his lack of artifice around his opinions.

This last few years has shown some huge division within the American people. It's very obvious that they've never really 'recovered' from the Civil War. I almost wonder if they need some sort of cathartic commission, or something. I've also always found it very strange that the "leader of the 'free' world" couldn't even pass the Equal Rights Amendment.

Actually, he has a rep in the horror community for being a pretty decent sort. Horror writers are often oddly nice people.

(With the exception of H. P. Lovecraft, who was classist, sexist, and racist well beyond even what was normal for his time)

Do you think that ignoring the crimes against humanity in favor of mocking the war criminals is a better solution? Are you a crimes against humanity supporter? What is your solution focus? Just erase anyone that points out the truth. Censor all the world's problems into oblivion?

At least I am consistent. Seems that more than a few posters here have dissociative disorders that involve experiencing a disconnection and lack of continuity between 'threads' thoughts, memories, surroundings, actions and identity.
