A really dated one, in my mind? "Word" to indicate agreement with a post.

I'm afraid that "am I right" lives on in "ikr" "I know, right?"
I think, again, that's been shortened to "right?" ...yeah, it's an annoying one that I also use from time to time when I've been around others who say it.

Ikr...Bugs me!

At work we were not allowed to say "Not a problem." Or "No worries." - not with the public. Somebody complained and the manager at the time didn't like it either - too unprofessional. It's "not a problem" anymore though. I haven't heard any complaints and one or two supervisors say it from time to time. But, in response to "Thank you." The proper thing to say is still, "You're welcome." Which I do. In casual settings I'd say "No problem." "You're welcome" or both.

So if someone said something like, Sorry for bothering you, you couldn't say not a problem? That's weird.

Is YOLO still a thing? My son was throwing that around a lot in high school but I have not heard it much recently.
I know for parents of young children, FOMO has stuck around. Not sure if it's really said much. YOLO I don't see much.

Hatchwork ... in a nautical sense for something being floated again?

Can thoughts be rehatched like Lazarus from a poem Kin ... thus orangemen ... useless de IHX that are too interested in politix in the post?

Did you see the item of purple posts in Texas? he Colour Purple takes on nous life as chez NU! Trumped ... and thus we move on into another realm ... eternally forgotten by excessive reality (politicos)!

Old nautical terminology never goes out of style, does it? I use that one from time to time.
My kids went suddenly silent in confusion when I told them to STOP right now or I'd keel haul them. Another favourite was - shape up or I'll beat you with a well boiled noodle.

Lands sakes alive.
Glory be to Father Christmas.
Doesn't that just take the biscuit?

The UK has an endless supply of this type of thing!

Not on your nelly.

And yeah, my nickname for my Mom was Queen of Platitudes.

Except that now, I'm just as bad...

I remember 100 lashes with a wet noodle. My family has British descendants not first generation - but some of those were carried down.

What does that have to do with the price of eggs?
