If you don't trust him, don't. I know he's not part of your approved speakers list. Did you even bother to watch/listen to him. He's bang on.

And do more homework on the fifth column. It's quite interesting.
He's bang on ... and yet you ignored everything he was talking about and posted another ridiculous 'this or that' BS.

What are you talking about? I posted this because I agreed with him.

Oh, you don't like the meme I posted after. Oh well.

Mocking Trump is about as insightful as mocking me all the while ignoring ...

"The tiny cabal of corporate oligarchs that have seized control of the two ruling parties, the three branches of government, the media, academia, our health services and the economy. They have usurped our rights to exclusively serve corporate profit. The consent of the governed has become a cruel joke. The politicians and leaders of the two ruling parties are selected and anointed by our corporate masters. They are corporate puppets. Without corporate money and support they would not be in power. They do not work for us. And they know it. ”

“Real political change will come only through sustained acts of mass civil disobedience,” Hedges said. “We must stand with those carrying out rent strikes and the front line workers whose health and safety are being sacrificed by corporations such as Amazon, which paid no federal taxes last year and is owned by the richest man in the world. Political power must be an organic expression of these movements. That expression will never come from the Democratic or Republican parties. The mantra of the least worst is a ruse, used to intimidate us. The oligarchs, especially those that fund the Democratic Party, made it very clear in a series of public statements that should Bernie Sanders become the party nominee they would vote for Trump. They prefer Biden over Trump, who is inept and an embarrassment to the empire, just as they preferred Hillary Clinton, but they know that Trump and Biden will slavishly serve corporate power.”

Who knew ...
Activist and author Chris Hedges will be the Green Party candidate for Congress in the 12 th District of New Jersey. He joins GPNJ’s candidate for U.S. Senate Madelyn Hoffman in running for federal office in the 2020 elections.

Mocking trump? No, that was not the point. The point is that people would apparently rather see a lying, con-man as the speaker of the truth rather than scientists, scholars etc. You seem to not value the opinions of scholars, etc, I know. But then I haven't been able to figure out what you believe in the reams of stuff you share. I don't see much of a consistent message there.

I value the opinion of scholars ... Chris Hedges is one of them. I have posted a 5 hour link to the Peoples Convention ... voices of scholars, etc. that I am willing to invest some of my time listening to. I am open-minded and do not 'believe' ... I question and try to understand all points of view ... independent of the status quo ... and then make up my own mind ... Consistently ... I am anti war anti racist anti poverty anti corporatism anti legalism anti authoritarianism anti partisan and anti suppression of an individual's freedom of choice to responsibly govern themselves.

I am a follower of the Way working for the kingdom of heaven which I believe will not happen before we get to sustainable anarchy. Sustainable anarchy depends on enough people (probably over 90%) able to respect and give space to other people and able to defend their rights to respect and space. It will require a long devolution of the concentration of power. Before that can happen no one will live in fear of hunger or homelessness or violence. We have a long journey to get there and I believe it starts with a progressive democracy that chooses the best tools to provide each kind of service that we need as a society.

The Atlas Foundation seems to be succeeding at pushing policies leading to an oligarchy while convincing millions of people about the existence of other conspiracies.

Does anarchy and chaos amount to the same thing ... just dependant on which side of the fence your standing on?

Imagine a cat on the fence howling about those on either extreme ... may be Rahab relabelled Finigan ... in wake of literary evolution to protect the innocents/inner sense! Could be sapience ...

Phew!
Seemed like you were going weird there, but then suddenly give the nod to capitalism.
I am a pragmatist looking for the most efficient way to provide services. Most of the time monopolies should be publicly owned when a monopoly is a necessity

I am a pragmatist. Some services are best delivered by entrepreneurs and companies. Sometimes they are best delivered by government. Sometimes by co-ops. Sometimes by charities. I like using analysis that includes total costs for the average user, quality and reliability of the service and social and environmental consequences.
