Supposed to be raining...I have yet to see any

They were originally calling for rain most of this week but the current forecast isn't bad. A bit cool some days, but just a chance of showers one day later in the week. Gorgeous today. Did an hour walk in shorts and a t-shirt for my exercise.

We're under a "special weather statement" for wind and excess rain...it started raining about 5 minutes ago

We went out for a walk this afternoon. It was during one nice weather spell this odd day presented. When we got home, the heavens opened up and it rained/hailed hard. We had two loud claps of thunder later, one of which caused me to jump. Now it's sunny and lovely. It certainly has not been a boring day.

I ran over to Michaels and picked up some yarn for the baby blanket I'm making. I've given up on the crap I had. It was most annoying and was pissing off my inner perfectionist.

Friday was my last day at work as employer put us all on "furlough." And wouldn't you know after nice weather last week it is raining, so no biking today.

My bike is probably ready. Little M used it last week. Just sticking to walking for now, though.

What is so crappy about it?

It comes alive and shape shifts. Stitches morph and wiggle into worms making the fabric look terrible. It's too bad because it is soft and squishy.

I'm going to return the three balls I haven't touched. I may try a crochet something or other for the stuff that's in balls.
