I am going to follow the wheelchair users wish, never to use the handicapped bathroom from now on ( though I have never seen a w/c user actually come out of one, ever).
I have to use it to wheel in my walker. Often I am carrying things in it that I don’t want to leave outside the stall or maybe there’s something personal I need in it. The railing is also most helpful. I do qualify to use it if it’s available, I think. I didn’t used to awhile back but I, do now. I am like those people who were interviewed, now...annoyed when it’s not being used by someone who has a reason to need it (I can also understand moms with strollers and little kids or balance issues, or osteomyelitis bags...a number of other legit reasons) or, when someone is just, I don’t know, trying on their new clothes or something. Some bathrooms are now combined nursing rooms, rooms with an extra kids toilet, and rooms for mobility access. They are large and maybe have a vanity area with a chair - sort of two rooms (with one outer door, that locks, in addition to the toilet room). So moms will hang out in there with their kids and not hurry it along - you can hear them in there making themselves right at home like it’s a family room ...if I gotta go I would knock and ask if they will be long because I really need to use that bathroom, or another accessible one if it was being unfairly occupied for too long. I would. There was a time I would feel shy to...but if I need to I will knock. ...Or you might come across a sort of universal bathroom for everyone who wants or needs a separate one...which is good in theory...except it happens to be the only one big enough to bring a walker into.

Off topic though. Maybe there’s a better thread to put that comment in.

I have watched several episodes. I really appreciated hearing the perspectives of those with Down Syndrome, with facial differences, with dwarfism...all very interesting points of view.

Did you know that Neflix has a limit of how many things you can put on your list?
I discovered this when I kept getting an error message when trying to add new things, so searched. Limit is 500. I often forget to take things of that I have watched and I have quite a long list of maybe when in the right mood for that. My actually really want to see, half asleep and in pain watching styles are very different.

I have to admit, this made me chuckle a bit. This is where we rely on the Oxford comma. Is this two or three watching styles? And can you tell what your style was after the fact, i.e. can you identify what type of show you've picked with what condition?

Unconditionally of with direction?

3 although half asleep and in pain can be a 4th.
haha yep, I can usually tell, although sometimes I'll add something for a different condition ie. half asleep, know I won't pay attention now, but something I do want to watch when alert.

I have been watching Sherlock- new version. Really liked it.
Too bad my Netflix will end early August as Junior has canceled his subscription and it isn’t really worth $20 a month to sign up on my own.

$20? It's $13.99 for the mid-range package that I used to have (and might again come Fall). Even with tax, that's only $15.80. Or did Junior have the top-end package, which is $16.99 pre-tax? If so, you could downgrade to one of the lower packages. The mid-range gets you HD resolution and up to two simultaneous devices, which should be more than enough for most. And if you're okay with standard definition (ie. old school TV), then it's only $9.99 but that may also limit some titles if they are only available in HD.

The reason I am waiting until Fall is that we leave for two weeks vacation soon and then have to head up to Ottawa to help LIttle M move. Also, I don't exercise in front of the TV in summer since I can often walk or bike outdoors and that's usually my TV time.

Junior had the four pack- so it cost me only $60 a year for my share. Considering that I sometimes don’t use it for weeks, I don’t feel its worth spending more than that. I am usually watching German TV online for free.

I've been watching two series on Amazon Prime (not Netflix) that I've enjoyed a great deal:

The Man In The High Castle - an alternative history show with a bit of a sci-fi twist about the Nazis and Japan winning World War II.

Harrow - a crime drama about an Australian forensic pathologist.

My wife has enjoyed The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel on Prime.

I've been eyeballing Prime, mainly for Neil Gaiman's Good Omens (showrun and written by Gaiman from a novel by himself and the late Sir Terry Pratchett) and American Gods (also based on Gaiman, but not made by him), but Man in the High Castle is another that I would check out.

He gave me his password once for a movie to see- it didn’t work on my tablet. I suppose it is similar to netflix, you can only use it on one IP address.
Netflix allows multiple IPs. Chemguy and I have both used it when away from home.
I can't see getting Prime for streaming if that's the case.
