More serious, but still funny...

Mitt Romney was asked by an interviewer what he would say to the president if he were sitting across from him. Romney's response: "Resign."

Nothing like a clear, concise, and correct answer.

The Mitt Romney? The failed Republican nominee for President of the United States in the 2012 election?

Yup, the same Mitt Romney who governed a state, who currently serves as a U.S. Senator, who will likely forget more about governing than Trumptydumpty will ever bother to learn.

Learn??????? Is that reality or an essence for you'all? Just a ghost of wisdom ... Mar Leigh ... leagues behind in chains ... confined dark ness ... the shadow anthropomorphism? Un-real altruism!

Not here, not now ... perhaps coming? We don't know ...

The rule is don't speak of it ... act like unseeing and un hearing ... dark mutes? Oh the darkness of soul until reciprocated upon ... be onus!

I don't give a damn what he says. Just like Lindsey Graham will talk tough against Trump, then vote for his worst ideas later.

Why are people so enamored whenever a Republican politician makes a public statement against Trump? These words don't matter. How they vote is what matters.

Everyone is so damn impressed by words from people whose words are inconsequential, and whose votes rarely line up with their words.

I'm not enamoured by Romney. I just found it a little bit funny.

As for voting..now... He voted against the Republican bill to re-open the government, and for the Dems bill - is my understanding.

Let's face it, the guy is a rare (today) sane, competent Republican. Had he been against someone other than an incumbent Barack Obama in 2012, he might well have been president.

Tell chansen. I already agree. I wouldn't have been happy about him being elected - I do not like Republican policies on so many things (and I am not sure if anyone who voted for the invasion of Iraq was sane at that time - but compared to what they have now...? I mean, c'mon.

Unlike Donald Trump, Romney failed to win the minds and hearts of the American people.

Remember that Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 by nearly 3 million votes. Not exactly capturing the hearts and minds of a nation.

Trump won the popular vote once you discount from it all the people who voted who were dead.

You really enjoy being wrong, don't you? You statement has absolutely no basis in facts, truth or reality whatsoever.

The FACT is that Hillary Clinton received 2,800,000 MORE votes than your hero Trump. Whether or not you accept it makes no difference whatsoever.
Try dealing with the truth.
