Sorry, but the talk of eggs had me thinking about the conception of Jesus by the Holy Spirit once again. :nerd:

That Mary was a virgin I have no doubt of. I have sometimes wondered about exactly how the Spirit acted upon her. She overshadowed Mary, but what specific biological changes took place, I don't know.

indeed , back to this topic,

either Mary was conceived 1) miraculously by the Holy Spirit or Mary was 2) conceived naturally by man.

since we know God is Truth, as stated by waterfall that God does not lie, , then its either 1 or 2

depending on how we interpreted the same passage we all have, by our natural brain or Gods Spirit, we will end up with one or the other.

BUT,

being of natural mind, one would think Mary would scream out at Her Sons crucifixion to save His life and claim Jesus natural father if there was one , after all ,

Mary was there at conception

I am content to understand the story as a testimony of faith with mythological elements. I especially love the birth narrative of Luke's gospel.

so quoting you, you said God does not lie (Numbers), and your response is, that makes God human

duck and weave, not working for you
Read again...I asked if you were referring to Jesus as not lying..... I believe God doesnt lie....but Jesus being human could.

You appeared to be questioning whether Redbarrons academic credentials should give credence for what he believes.....

I honestly wonder of your ability to read at times, go follow the posts

just wondered if you ever questioned your own pastors academics or if its even a requirement IYO?

a pastor = human, not God , a believers relationship is between the Holy Spirit and him/herself alone

not a pastor, not a seminary school, not some grure, not a rabbi , ect ect

let's leave Jesus out, Numbers that YOU quoted, not me but YOU, says God does not Lie

so I will ask you again, and again and again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

if God does not lie, what does that make God ? Truthful or a lier???????????

its one or the other, take your pic

Jesus seemed to think Apostles and disciples were important....why?
Have you never received revelation from scripture also?

no you have not , post when you have answered what God is (not Jesus) but God if he is not a Lier,

post it
Scripture states God does not lie....so GOD does not lie IMO....I believe Jesus was not God but a divine human son of God and could have lied....plain enough for you?

you are being disingenuous, I clearly stated above leave Jesus out, we are speaking STRICTLY of the Creator alone ,

God does not Lie , so in your opinion, its just makes God not a lier but not Truthfull ?
