Right... the headless part, that was the point of my posting that Luce... not the part where, you know, President Trump is professing to be a Christian. :rolleyes:

As do millions in the western social economy alone. This profession is negated by their practice. Somehow imagining it possible to serve God and Mammon. Sorry. One or the other. Disagree?

I'm not going to judge the authenticity of President Trump's faith.
 
Tell that fox Herod. Jesus had no doubt concerning right use, misuse or abuse of power. We who walk in the way of Jesus are called to notice and proclaim that misuse and abuse. Even a shallow reading of the western text and tradition will show tyrants professing Christian faith.

Here is an example from recent history:

Just put Muslim where you read Jew and think about where we are going. This by the corruption of creature and creation through the lust for power in the name of Jesus. I am mindful that anti-Christ will come forward as an angel of light, seducing and deceiving many.

Be sober. Be vigilant. Our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

I will. Based on his quote about what is, inarguably, the most important Holy Day of the Christian Year, where he seemed unable to articulate the words Jesus, or resurrection, or anything vague Easter-ish.

Same quote says everyone knows this ... the same "everyone" that saw larger hoards on the Washington Mall on Inauguration Day than ever before ... much, much larger than during the Pussy Cap demonstration?

Is there such a thing as double-talk to cover said illusions ... by folk demanding monoth eis-ism? Monoliths as large as Hannibal's White Elephant tail in Rome? I found a rippling effect from Googling the word oligarch ... and finding the connections to secret schemes .. that I've been told by certain authorities that they certainly don't exist ... especially if labelled sacred conspiracies (form of plot or theme)! Some even suggest the POTUS was rushing oily boy ... in some tradition a reference to the Cajeunes ... in Spain floating spheres ... slippery?

Well, it's official now. The British government has admitted it did not have the evidence it claimed to have when it said Russian agents tried to kill a Russian spy living in Britain. It was pretty obvious - or should have been - at the time that the British prime minister was lying.

Interestingly, though, the NATO countries and the U.S. are continuing the expulsion of Russian diplomats.

And kiss-up Justin has announced that Canada will be joining the US in sanctions against Venezuela. (The purpose of this is to bring back the old billionaire-loving Venezuelans who had helped American oil bosses (and a Canadian one) to rip off that country's oil.)

The puzzling thing is that Trump has recently looked very reasonable in relation to Russia and North Korea - though there is no such movement in Congress, the military or his cabinet. I wonder who, if anybody, is in charge.
 
The U.S. is not attacking Canada? Just wait.

The U.S. is running dangerously low on water. Canada will either give it to the U.S, or the U.S. will take it. And that's probably within ten to twenty years - tops.
