And we know this isn't the only time it has happened. In fact, this seems to be a part of how evolution operates. Life is cooler than we imagine. As always.

How do they pick up these static signals if there is no oxygen for sound to travel?...or is that a myth?

It's not sound, it radio waves. Sound can't travel in space due to lack of any medium to carry them (BTW, any matter can carry sound, not just air, but their speed and other characteristics change based on the density of the medium) and is also far too slow. Electromagnetic waves like radio travel at the speed of light and a quantum field is their "medium", which exists everywhere.

Basically, they've found microbes deep in the sea bed that use so little energy, they literally take centuries just to divide and can possibly live for millenia. Life once again proves to be amazing beyond our wildest imaginings.

Life is like that for those that come to the conclusion they don't understand the human psyche as just too big a problem ...

Thus folly of the understood about what we don't know ... an extensive pasture ... a stink for those that go with the BS that we know everything ... what a leap!

Where Adam and Eve came face to face ... a big bole 'd tree? Some say a totem of things to come ... amulet or sign of an iconic event ...
