And this is the point, suddenly “what” we believe has become the sin.
 
The Christians who harp on about "sin" are some of the worst people. Pointing out your "sin" is just their way of feeling superior to you. unsafe has all her personal capital riding on this bet about God and what "He" wants. Yes, it's wildly improbable, and even if it were true, her God is a total jackass. But she can't see it, and he can't allow herself to see it. The bible is true and moral and the "Word of God", and where the bible is shown to be false or immoral, it's not, because it's the "Word of God". To the rest of us, this is mind-numbing. To unsafe, it's Wednesday, and every other day of the week.

Is this the same God that asks us to love our enemies? I guess He's a God that says to do what I say, not as I do, according to this.

Airclean--post---Yes Neo it was a coercion , Father", Son". Holy Spirit". It would be nice if some here would really read GODS Word" . You would have to have GODS Holy Spirit" to understand it. GOD is The only one who can really understand what He" had written". Here is something , that may help. GOD" is The same yesterday Today, and To morrow". Good luck to you, if you don't have the infill of GODS" Holy Spirit".
 
God's word is a nebulous set of expletives ... few interpret it with utilitarian benefit of all ... leaning towards my pair can beat your pa ... boob shot?

Yes it is ----here is the difference in Loving our neighbour with our human love and loving our neighbour with the indwelling God in us who gives us the ability to Agape our neighbour -----

Human love is self driven and unstable ---we may love our neighbour one minute and dislike our neighbour the next as it is based on our emotions and when we do love our neighbour it glorifies ourselves not God -----

Agape is a fruit of the spirit and come from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit --this love is stable and rooted and grounded and when God gives us the ability to love our neighbour He gets all the Glory not us -----

God makes it very clear that if you don't have the Holy Spirit you belong to this world ----

Without the Vine the branch is dead ----

I can't get past the feeling that Christianity is rooted in you like a parasite. Where religion can be something that some will claim enriches their lives, it controls yours. It has stolen your ability to think and reason, and replaced that with an ability to recite bible verses and use Google Image Search.
